Any thoughts that perhaps some of these may be being refinanced as CBILS loans at lower interest rates? Pure speculation on my part...

To be fair, they're probably on reduced staffing currently, expect a rush of updates from 5th Jan. I think there might be a “glitch” with some updates from a day or two ago entered but not “published” in a way that we see them. For example #590. Loan #590 has repaid £717K (no Lender Update, spotted it from release of MLA funds) There is NOW an update but dated 21/12 and it wasn’t there earlier (I’m pretty sure) as per cb25 ‘s observation earlier this afternoon. Yep, seeing a lot of backdated updates recently; i.e. ask a Question, update appears on loan with the answer, apparently dated before the question was asked...

It has just occurred to me (quite late in the day, really!) the AA low cost of exit actually now makes the AA look attractive for 'passive' investing-for-discount based on the assurance of SL that bigger payouts are a coming. You can get 1.5% on a largish lump and make an immediate withdrawal request for free. And as the money is repaid you just 'reinvest' @'3.75%' interest possibly with further discount. It's a veritable money printing machine for the cash-rich/time-poor
[Now... what can possibly 'go wrong' with that??]

No loan updates or repayments announced today. 29 Dec 2020 The impression I got from the customer service team yesterday was that they were not expecting any loan updates or repayments to be done until 4th January, so just standard loan payments being processed this week.

A good idea. That will smooth out the effects of weekends and give a meaningful point of reference.

Loan #1084 has repaid £295K, of which £281K/£14K will go towards capital reduction of the retail/CBILS loans respectively. Still not distributed to lender accounts. I think AC have had the money a week since 30/12/2020 - presumably that’s what the “due date” in repayments means. The lender update was 2 days ago. I know it’s the holiday season but it’s still seems a massively dragged out process for the number of staff AC employ. Seems to have paid out now - MLA payment made 10.01

Overnight there was a payout of £5.37 per £10K in each AA
Loan #535 has repaid £340K
They have always been incredibly slow but do not seem to care - it's not their money is it?

Tjanks As long as you don't mind potentially selling out at a discount at some point, and potentially some of the loans you get become frozen, then its not a terrible idea in my opinion - is it a good one is a different matter and for personal opinion. You need to be happy with the risk/reward balance of P2P.
