I can't believe these guys are still going. Its comical - are they deliberately trying to come up with ways to p**s off their entire lender base? They have already managed to lose all their big investors via the flat rate bailout system - now they have managed to alienate the people that are trying to keep money in You couldn't make it up. Yes, you're right, Laurel and Hardy would be able to run a P2P network in a far superior way than Assetz Capital. I've given AC the benefit of the doubt and my support through thick and thin, no matter how many stupid steps they've taken, but their latest action several days ago to suddenly kick me and other lenders out of their Access Accounts was the straw that broke the camel's back. They are very much my least P2P network now. Even though I'm invested to the tune of a very significant sum with them, I'll be doing cartwheels if I ever discover they've gone bust. It's worth losing hundreds of thousands of pounds just to see the smirk wiped off the faces of their slimey CEO and his merry band of arrogant shmucks that look down on retail P2P lenders. Really ? You really would be happy to lose 'hundreds of thousands of ££s' ? Either you have way too much money, or you came by it too easily and don't attach sufficient value, or perhaps a line is being spun ? If you money means so little to you, I can send you some bank details for you to remit said quantity

They’ve made errors. But no ones lost money with ac. Interest at 3 or 4* BS rates has rolled up nicely, thanks.
Unlike FC who’ve quit, Zopa, whose rates go up and down like a whores drawers, RS who’ve quit and as for LW(rofl) . Those four alone show the difficulty of navigating the Covid years. And when you add in the ones who are now in administration AC fall no where near the bottom of the p2p pile. In fact probably top half, if not top third for the BIGGER players in the game. Of course there’s tiddlers like LP and PL who are better, but among the big boys...

We should not allow a fall in the standard of grammar in our discourse on this forum.

All platforms are good until they are not. Then we all move to LP etc until they end up having troubles. RS for me has been the best and look where they ended up. It's a tough industry to turn a profit, makes it even harder dealing with retail investors no doubt.

They lost all credibility a very long time ago and are now paying the price as they watch their lender base disappear and loan book shrink to zero. I wouldn't joke about losing a few £100k with this lot though - it nearly happened once and all it takes is one more stupid decision and your "wish" could unfortunately come true.

edit: i put how many pairs of drawers initially but then realised that was adding to the confusion.

It's the fact of possession of at least one pair of drawers by the whore which is important here; the number of pairs owned or worn by him or her is immaterial.

In that case pants as the second apostrophe is superfluous as drawers are already plural. To make them singular add 'pair of'

That should be ... drawers is already plural ... A word is singular or plural.

Its 3AM and I can't understand why we are discussing whores ? This is even stranger than AC's videos.

Something wrong with a whores drawers? Perhaps too complicated (10) OK, I give in. My protest about the missing apostrophe was supposed to be a subtle dig at the use of the awful sexist expression. The principle was right though, and this thread should be Exit from/Entry into the QAA queued, as the prevailing mood takes them. As someone who supported AC through the difficult time by supporting the SM and retaining funds in Access accounts, I am disgusted to be rewarded by having my investment dumped into cash like unwanted garbage, without warning or a proper apology. Lesson learned.

It might have been better for AC to start queuing new investment into the Access accounts earlier rather than also having to reduce existing balances. Feels like a bit of a knee jerk reaction given the scale of the reduction unless this was the plan. I agree. They call it "automatic" www.assetzcapital.co.uk/automatic-operating-level But surely if it were automatic, this wouldn't have happened. It seems as though someone just happened across the maths.

Must admit I have never come across a company (at least one that still exists) that is so determined to annoy so many of it customers especially the large ones.
Add these to the general problems of P2P in particular when the government is throwing cheap money in all directions there are few/if any good borrowers for P2P and when this ends the chances are the risks will increase.
However there is always the prospect of another one of Stuarts videos, you will be able to collect the box set.
