Interestingly, even after today my 374027 release request in Access is still not released. Most of the £11k was released on Friday, leaving about £3.7k. A further £3.1k released today, leaving me just under £600 yet to be released. Make of that what you will. This sort of thing seems to be happening a decent amount. I don't see why it should be necessary given we all have our funds split over multiple loan parts, but I wonder if some kind of 'matching' is going on that means, even in your situation, you're passed up a few times before something that can 'match' your remaining balance comes along.

I wonder if they alternate between Access, Plus and Max depending on volumes so some days no Access RYIs are processed. 1Y and 5Y are completely separate, driven purely by the liquidity in those markets.

That means they released the remaining £297,900 in the other markets. Surely that can't be right?! hardly shocking, it could be any number of reasons.

Thanks for the graph. I think the line of fit for Access etc needs to be less steep - it needs to give more weight to the data towards the right for its predictions to be realistic. 13/3 requests starting processing on 12/6 is almost impossible looking at the table.

Thank you for producing this. It looks like the 5yr and 1yr products will be past the peak days soon. Does this mean more money will be able to be directed to the access products or does it not work that way? Many thanks

Does this mean more money will be able to be directed to the access products or does it not work that way? Many thanks We're told it doesn't work that way - each of the three markets is separate. That would be because this is lenders' money we're talking about, and I for one would be unhappy if money I had committed to say the 1Y market suddenly found itself in Access.

You are correct. The linear fits are just quick and approximate so don't take too much notice of them.

Funny you should say that, it actually happened to me! I made a RYI request on 16 March on the 1-year market, a date acknowledged by email by Ratesetter. Then a 1-Year borrower made an unexpected early repayment resulting in the system reinvesting my 1-Year funds into Access. To make matters worse the system then amended my RYI date to 7 May! Naturally I made a formal complaint about RYI date-shifting but just received a copy/paste generic reply not addressing the actual issue, so I'm not expecting my RYI money any time soon. By comparison I also made a similar RYI request to Z*p* also on 16 March which has now returned nearly all my money already.

Make sure that your 1Y settings for repayments are to "Holding". I had an early 1Y payment not long ago and there was no problem with it.

You are spot-on, I had assumed my RYI request would automatically void any 1-Year reinvestment settings but that doesn't happen in practice so the repayment I was expecting got diverted to Access with its longer release date. This probably wouldn't have been a problem in normal times I guess but became one with the current extended release times. The situation was not helped subsequently by RateSetter sending my an email saying I was in the 1-Year queue and release of funds 'will be a few more weeks' - but frustratingly the email didn't suggest changing my settings to 'Holding' so this would actually happen. So fault on both sides I think. We live and learn....

I would contact RS and see what's going on. gg had a Max loan processed much later in the queue than this one. p2pindependentforum.com/post/390836/thread

This is worrying because if correct it shows the access release queue has effectively stopped - hopefully not?
