Basic question: If try to sell all my QAA, do the dud loans sell as well? The implication from the two emails we've just got is that they do. The discount is very much dependent on how you view the dud loans. Yes, you're trading in "units" of QAA, encompassing everything the QAA holds (live loans, defaulted loans, cash and PF entitlement). If you sell 100% of your QAA holding then your QAA balance goes to zero. Thanks. If it wasn't for the use of the qord 'queue' I'd give it a go. As they do use the work 'queue' I'm hesitant. I know it's not currently a queue, and I know that they don't care about getting the right position in the queue (if you email them and say that your timestamp is wrong they reply saying it's not a queue), but I would like to get rid of 100% of my (accidental) QAA holdings.

But you can up your discount until there is no queue (for you). How high that needs to be will, in my opinion, be a matter of timing. Get in real quick on day 1 and it could be low (eg: 5%), get in later on day 1 and you might need to go 10% or higher. Leave it for a week or two, and you might get matched at, say, 5% again. (Discounts mentioned are for illustrative purposes only Seriously though, as SteveT mentioned earlier, it would be really useful if there were a full market overview to allow potential market participants make better informed decisions.)

It appears from the screen-grabs in today's emails that it will be possible manually to work out the current market situation by "testing" a number of potential Bids / Offers at different discounts (without confirming them). If so, I dare say someone will set up some sort of manual market tracker on here. Providing it within the AC UI certainly would be much simpler (and live!)

Just spoken to AC. Their intention is still for the system to go live this week, even if it's Sat or Sun. (may or may not get another email)
And agree with dave4 that a new thread would now be good, and perhaps a 2nd new one for manual market tracker on here.(as suggested by SteveT)

True you will be able to see the discounts available by proposing a purchase but not completing, but the depth of that will be limited to the amount of cash in your account - which does not earn interest. This lack of visibility may limit flipping.
Yes I agree, as the OP, that this thread should soon be replaced by another. My work here is done.

Remind me Wednesday evening to check for the postponement email...
Not counting any chickens just yet!
Would be nice to see the 'on hold' pro-rata interest and capital repayments appear before then stuartassetzcapital

At least they've given us a good few days notice of how it'll work
