Fair enough, RS forced into publishing this info because we are already publishing it on here. Whilst you may be correct I'm not that sure that RS is even reading these forums and less so taking much notice of them. If I want RS to notice something I think its far more effective to engage with them directly. But I accept that's just my personal view born out of being on these forums for a little while now and also engaging directly with RS on a number of occasions. On this indicator I think they may have fielded a large number of direct questions from investors and it was an onbious decision to cut down the CS required to field these questions directly.

I don't intend on conversing further with you after you were found to be lying regarding your position with RS in order to try to support unfounded accusations you were making; and then bizarrely retrospectively added the 'female' sign to your account and tried to accuse me of sexism. If that is correct then it would be really bizarre indeed!. Mind you there are quite a few very new members that to be fair may not understand the intricacies of options on these places. The user deleted all their previous posts after this incident, but see here: p2pindependentforum.com/post/386666/threadAlas, we have to remember that anyone can say anything they want on here, and we can't always assume they're acting in good faith sadly.

I'd be inclined to agree - RS trailed this new feature for a while, having said they were receiving feedback from many investors requesting more info on the queue. It might also help though to not assume people know your gender unless you declare it up front using the notation available. Of course these days one could suggest that these forums are sexist since I think there are only 2 signs available to forumites anyway (I think!).

And that's discounting the possibility that the account shown really is bona fide, just somebody else's.

Not to mention it being an empty account despite a previous (now deleted) post stating: Need the portion I have requested to withdraw for some home improvements that are about to start. I am now going to have to get a loan to pay for it. Oh, and the other now deleted post stating, somewhat in contradiction: I personally have no financial position with RateSetter, so comments about rage are unjust So yes. Skepticism warranted in these parts, sadly.

Sorry, I didn't mean to re-litigate this or cause a second pile-on for this user; but just to explain why I responded the way I did in this thread having previously told this user that I wouldn't be conversing with them again. If they had apologised, we could've moved on; but they did not and instead just deleted all evidence of their lies.

I'm obviously far more trusting than many - I assumed that we were dealing with truths here, of course it may well be that their ED account is empty but their ISA one is the one they are talking about.
Also being someone who created web pages for a living - quite a while back now of course - it never occurred to me that anyone could be here trying to cover things up quite a bit more than I seem to have missed.

I'm confused as anyone, why does the members screen show freddie123 as last being online in May sometime when they were clearly online today. My entry and many entries say online today but freddie123 says they were not online last today!. @freddie123 this is not about you I'm just confused that your account has messages attributed today yet it clearly states on my version of the members screen that you were last on ages ago(May 8, 2020 at 8:18pm in fact). Any ideas Ton ⓉⓞⓃ , or am I just reading it wrong. It works ok for benaj who was on earlier today and now is not online. |

Why don't you discuss amongst yourselves what gender you all are, whther you compare human or now and what your names etc are rather than attack me just because my gender and profile handle don't match... I'm not the first person and won't be the last who's handle doesn't bear any reference to their real name / gender / living creature. chris1200 I doubt beagle is a dog but why aren't you questioning that given their profile name? Dare I suggest that walking away from this might be the best approach perhaps!
