Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

FAO andrewholgate because I'm not sure who from AC is actually tasked with acting upon this thread. Given the issue with loan#45 it seems appropriate. There are some loans where an interest payment buffer is built up over the first few months. This is important because it adds to the security of the loan. For loans where this applies, can you please add the amount held in the interest payment buffer to the security tab. It should show the amount collected and the date received. That way we all know what's held in the trust account.

andrewholgate Can I plead once again for a Account level downloadable repayment schedules for all our loans. For good business reasons, AC's borrowers often have complex repayment schedules. Converting these into a forecast of Capital & Interest for me (as a lender) is a nightmare. Screenscraping data produces the wrong format dates etc To be honest. This one factor dramatically reduces the amount I lend via AssetCapital. If I am going to manage a P2P portfolio in a professional manner, I must have accurate history and forecasts Every loan I invest in in AC takes 1-2 hours of work to setup - every other P2P site I use takes 1-2 minutes per loan (Either because the schedule is very simple or because they provide repayment schedules) As soon as a loan goes live or is amended (by one off payments etc). AC has all the information it needs to provide Repayment Schedules to users that want the. For me, the format would preferably be XLS or CSV Loan No (Numeric) Loan Part ID (Numeric) Due Date (XLS recognizable date format) Capital due to be repaid (£x.xx) Interest Due to be paid (£x.xx) A asked via support months ago and was told that something similar was planned, but obviously it has never got near the top of the stack. I can't be the only one frustrated by the lack of planning data.

I think that everyone's investment target should be disabled after a credit event. If there is some change, significant or not such that the loan is suspended from sale then before it is unsuspended disable every members setting for this loan.
This is the way things happen in many wholesale markets when economic numbers are released, it is the way things work in betting markets which are in play. It shouldn't be that hard to implement - could be made automatic, and it would be fair to those who are slightly more passive.

If there is some change, significant or not such that the loan is suspended from sale then before it is unsuspended disable every members setting for this loan. UNLESS those settings were made WHILE the loan was suspended. Edit: and of course, there is a difference between an investment target BELOW the current holding (attempting to sell some or all of the loan units), and one ABOVE the current holding (attempting to acquire more). Someone might be rightly displeased if they missed a window of opportunity to sell their loan units because the system disabled their investment target due to the credit event, when their investment target was set to attempt to sell the entire holding anyway.

UNLESS those settings were made WHILE the loan was suspended. I agree with that. Whatever triggers the suspension should also trigger the disable function. Then if someone edits his or her settings after that point it should be left alone. Not sure about this one. I think that it is better to have a simple rule. What about someone who is in some difficulty makes a partial payment which reduces everyone's current holding and so turns them into buyers? There are many possibilities. If all of the buyers are switched off, the sellers will not have missed much.

Can we have the 'opt-out' & manual invest disable button back please? They were very useful for flagging loans one didn't want to invest in.

But for me j the "Enable manual investment" button is still there and works. The Opt-Out has definitely gone for the moment, I guess they took it away so that they could re-introduce it in it's correct usage. AC said it came out too early and was really meant for something else.

MI only there if youve set a target of some type which I think was j's issue Chris mentioned removal of opt in/out here & plan to replace with note feature There is already a very useful system for flagging loans I dont want to invest in... they all have WT or wind turbine in the description or a number less than 10 in the rate column anything outside that I can usual remember why

I just wonder if Assetz could hire someone who is able to present a PDF the right way up. I'm sick to death of having to bring the document the right way round. I know it is a little thing but I struggle to see how it will make the big time with this sort of presentation skill.

Or just an Australian (other antipodeans are available) who would still present it the wrong way up but at least that would be the right way for the rest of us.

I normally face East in the morning to catch the sun are you suggesting I'd do better to face West?
