Seems the summary of current investment discount rate is back again without having to type in an amount

chris So as it stands today, in order to 'Invest' into QAA I need to cancel all withdrawals from QAA?
This is annoying particular with the 2FA confirmation on ever instruction and seems a pointless and petty obstruction.
Pretty sure this hasn't consistently been the case since the secondary market launched.
PS the interface checking the discount after every digit typed is also a hinderance to timely completion. Could it not just check once you stop typing?
It's been the way it's worked since go live, however there was a bug on Friday that temporarily allowed that rule to be breached.

Seriously why should we not be able to have withdrawals at par or a modest discount and also simultaneously be able to invest at a greater discount?
Remember without a withdrawal request in place you are asking us to forgo the capital repayments

It's a defined rule of the market that simplifies the implementation elsewhere. Perhaps it'll change in the future, but that's one of the rules in the current specification.

OK, a couple of suggestions, have a clear and consistent window during which capital repayments will be distributed. Pause the market during that time.
Pause the market ahead of any further mass emails with speculative content.

That is how it now works, there's a daily distribution in the early hours where the market is temporarily shut. Edit: Pausing the market ahead of mass emails is not a technical issue so I can't really comment.

No, the 18th Aug distribution of £134 per £10K went through mid morning, smaller ones on 20th & 21st were also during the day.

No, the 18th Aug distribution of £134 per £10K went through mid morning, smaller ones on 20th & 21st were also during the day. Those were manually run allocations whilst we were monitoring the system. Automated distributions will be in the middle of the night. That doesn't preclude other manual distributions.

So we could definitely miss out on future capital distributions by having an invest instruction, which precludes having a withdrawal instruction, on QAA.

chris If we have set a withdrawal instruction, does this mean we cannot have our monthly interest re-invested? Wouldn't the system need to create a buy order to re-invest the interest?

Probably the exception to the 'rule' which brought about the bug...
