The P2P Independent Forum has recently passed it’s seventh year anniversary. A lot has changed in that period, and not only in the P2P field. With increasing numbers of Platforms closing through administration, change of ownership, or just to retail investors we’ve taken the opportunity to review our Public Front Page structure once again.
We are moving some sites from the main P2x sites Board to the P2x Closed to New Retail Investors Board, and that includes two of the big name industry ‘founders’ Funding Circle and RateSetter together with Wellesley & Co.
Given the imbalance this causes in the page layout, we will also be moving CrowdProperty; Lending Works and Proplend from the More P2x… section, to the main P2x sites Board and by the same token Unbolted will move from the main Board to the More P2x sites…. Sub-board. These moves have been predicated on the net number of Platform posts in the six months to 7th January 2021. In addition to this we will also be moving CapitalRise into the main P2x More …. Sub-board, based on a number of requests from forum members.
We understand that Zopa, and possibly Lending Works may not yet be open for new investment so we will keep both Platforms under review, and should opening to new investors and lending fail to materialise we will move both to the P2x Closed to New Retail Investors Board. This will probably result in Loanpad featuring in the main P2x sites board but we will review the situation at the time.
