Does anyone know if it's possible & how long it takes to transfer cash from my Assetz Isa to a S&S isa I already hold with another co. ?
I only want to transfer half at the moment & it's already in cash.
Do I have to contact Assetz or does the other provider do it?
TIA

The assetz website tells you how under the isa section - there to read.

In short, complete the destination organisation's transfer-in form.

Thanks for the replies.
I wondered if there would be a problem as it's not a standard cash ISA.

You are right that there might be a problem. Lots of S&S ISA providers don't allow transfers in from IFISAs. They often have a box to tick that determines which type of ISA you're transferring from, and it's quite common for there not to be an IFISA option. However, as long as the funds you want to transfer are already held in cash, there's really no difference between an IFISA transfer and a cash ISA transfer, so, many have said that they just tick the cash ISA box and the transfer goes through without issues. I've done this myself, but can't remember which provider it was for. At worst, the transfer will be rejected.

I just made a transfer to fidelity. AC policy is 30 days to transfer. Mine took about that time. As pointed out earlier some s and s platforms don't seem to understand p2p and the fact you may not be able to transfer the entire isa. To avoid delays it's best to mark partial or cash in holding account only etc. I did have to chase 2 or 3 times to get thing moving. In contrast zopa took 3 days to transfer out.

Partial transfer of past years contributions, with monies sitting in the Cash account is fine.
Complete the destination provider's form as if it's a Cash ISA, (assuming destination accepts partial transfer of past years ISAs.)
The official name of Assetz Capital is "Assetz SME Capital Limited".
Takes less than 30 days. (Did two last month, will do another two next month.)

Beware if you want transfer to iweb. Their less experienced front desk advisers may insist to you that it's not possible to transfer to them from an IFISA. It most definitely is!

I have made over 10 IFISA transfers to iweb for a 6 figure total sum - it is indeed very possible. Just fill in the form as if it is a cash ISA (partial transfer if you aren't moving everything from the IFISA).

I've had bad service from individuals in a number of apparently reputable organisations relating to ISA transfers, as well as some excellent service. I think there is a large degree of pot luck involved.

The ISA transfer form i am filling in (for loan pad) is asking for an “account number”.
What should I put? Where can I find it on the Assetz website?

Hargreaves Lansdown told me on Friday that they have began reaching out to AC to start the transfer process. Will reply back when it is complete! I believe it be quite a few weeks from some posts about HL & AC in the past round here.

I believe it be quite a few weeks from some posts about HL & AC in the past round here. My experience of hL and ISA transfers is awful. I just wanted to transfer cash from my s&s hL ISA to a cash ISA. 3 months later, many excuses, always blaming the other company nothing happened. Incompetence of a massive scale.
