Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

shaf* - 30jun2021. Yes. Big GDV, remote, surrounded by flood risk areas with clear pockets. Covid-19 has improved the demand for these devs at least short term. Wasn't keen but pipeline loans are mostly small and I've been withdrawing a fair bit recently. If the start date overruns like some of my other loans I'll def. be cancelling the pledge. warw* - 30jun2021. all autoinvest so didn't read it.

CP loans seem to be fully filled within less than a minute. Despite its small size relative to other recent loans, this loan wasn't filled for 3min 20sec!

Either it was a gremlin in the software/hardware causing issues or a number of investors have been spooked by something. We need someone who passed on it to cough up why they didn't invest.

Gains* - 22jun2021. Hmm, river views. tbh I didn't go any further than the govt website, an interesting long term flooding rating, not the way you'd expect though. Didn't check the ground height relative to the water. Not for me, too big and too wet. CP have a fat pipeline so plenty of choice. Thank you for drawing your attention to this key factor. In terms of today's loan: "Very low risk" for "Rivers and the sea". "High risk" for "Surface water" @ the long term flood risk website. It's a pity CP do not share the relevant valuation reports etc., as other platforms do, where the risk assessment for flooding would have been shared. In terms of flood risk, how risky do you believe this development might be?
You said Right but this development may be risky.

Beck* - 27jul2021 . I belatedly noticed CP informed us this loan would be 'autoinvest only' but there was some available for manual lending. Now you know, shot myself in the foot again. I guess it's been happening more than just today.

Pen* - 28jul2021. Again flagged as autoinvest only but plenty available for manual lending for a couple of minutes. Not surprising perhaps. Gave it a miss.

Man* (real name Sto* !) - 10aug2021 - I gave my leave of absence for this loan and didn't attempt to refinance. CP laid it on a bit thick for my liking, I was almost in tears. That's right, even the way they name these loans is concerning to me and possibly should be to all the autolenders who think they are investing in Man*.

Ip* - 11aug2021 . Same borrower as a recent Proplend loan which was late but repaid in full with interest, he seems to be experienced and reliable. Different property but same area. Not for me though, adding floors to existing buildings, whole new levels of risk so to speak, need good foundations.
I wouldn't be happy if I lived in a building being stretched upwards. Surely the deeds for owner occupiers must say this building can be added to at any point in the future or there would be objections. All rented maybe.

Today's Ipswich loan borrower makes interesting reading at Companies House. I'll give it a miss!

I have noticed that the number of investors displays as low initially then shows the correct figure after a few seconds, in this case 2176 investors.
