Where does intent come into it? Its a thought crime. If anyone's perception or thought is that it is offensive then it is a potential crime requiring investigation. Just a complaint is enough, no evidence required

Nonetheless, I have over the last few years been coming to the conclusion that there is sadly more of it in UK society than I had thought. Certain political developments over the last seven years gave tacit permission for what used to be well hidden to become overtly expressed.

Not to mention, mass semi-anonymous social media pushing the reach of those with such views. Whereas before the audience was localised or specific, now it can be global & general

I always thought that Bob Geldof was a bit of a tw*t for calling his daughters Peaches, Pixie and Fifi Trixibelle, but I think Jamie Oliver has him beat with:
- Poppy Honey,
- Daisy Boo,
- Petal Blossom,
- Buddy Bear,
- River Rocket,

BBC objects to a "government funded" tag. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65226481It is of course funded by taxation and controlled by the government as its chairmen is appointed by the government. What do they have to complain about?

Pub in grotty bit of South Essex. ABSOLUTELY insistent that they are allowed gollys on display behind the bar, despite previous strops over keeping them there - 2018: www.thurrockgazette.co.uk/news/15991563.white-hart-pub-grays-determined-not-remove-golliwogs-despite-council-investigation/"literally the history of our country", "part of our heritage", "some people may not like them and they are entitled to that view, but they don't have to come into the pub."
Yeh. Right. Seeing and smelling smoke does not always mean there's a fire, but... A quick google finds photos of them from the 2018 strop... There's a fake driving licence photocard for "Golly" on display, giving place of birth as "SE9 Alabama". For those unfamiliar with the grottier corners of South London, SE9 is the Eltham/Falconwood part of London, best known for the murder of Stephen Lawrence and the former headquarters of the BNP. For his press photocall, the landlord chose a polo shirt with a logo on the breast - a Maltese Cross with crossed swords behind it. 2+2 is definitely starting to look to be in the region of 3.75 to 4.25. Somebody's found him on FB, and - guess what...? His back-catalogue of publicly-visible posts includes gems such as... Lots of casual misogyny, too, unsurprisingly. I wonder what the stuff he chooses NOT to make public's like?

I see the Dalai Lama is in trouble for kissing a boy on the lips and then asking for a frenchie. I wonder if Labour would put him on the list with the other 4,500 'sex offenders' that they say should be in prison?

The tweets you quote there suggest the Tweeter? or whatever the types who use it are called lives in Turkey. Are you sure your information is accurate. I am assuming you are linking it to the pub story. If not 'as you were' 'nothing to see here' sort of thing

In the originally shared article, his missus says he's "abroad at the moment". www.facebook.com/christopher.ryley.1

I rather watch other movies with popcorns and snacks than waiting an update for the police affairs.
Meanwhile
So, what’s exactly is the crime reported on 24th Feb?
