I've never understood what you mean by "aggressive liberals" The use of the word "liberal" as an insult has always struck me as strange, to the point it seems to say more about the person using it than their target. dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/liberal"respecting and allowing many different types of beliefs or behaviour"

Having no time whatsoever for Liberals... it should be noted that the only thing the torys got right was in 2010/15 under the cameron - clegg coalition... raising the threshold from 6000 to 12000.. a clegg promise...i cant remember another significant tax break under the torys since then, clegg should also have held firm about free uni for all.... debatable i know..

For people respecting different types of belief or behaviour? For people believing that there should be personal freedom, and believing that society should become more fair? And you think they are an insult...? Bearing in mind LD MPs formed about 1/7th of the coalition, I'd have said that 2015-on was a fine demonstration of how much above their weight they punched in keeping the worst excesses of the Tory party in check.

Great, we can agree that Daily Mail transphobia is illiberal. I couldn't give the first flying tosserigar about sports-related edge-cases, but I have been chatting with several trans people at an event over the weekend - and treating them like everybody else. Does that make me a bad person, in your view?

Why can you not understand the simple basics.... the vast VAST... majority of people have no problem whatsoever with trans rights.... however we would still like to respect WOMENS RIGHTS... why is that a problem?

Modern liberalism includes.... same-sex marriage, transgender rights, the abolition of capital punishment, reproductive and other women's rights, voting rights for all adult citizens, civil rights, environmental justice and government protection of the right to an adequate standard of living. Funnily enough..under LIBERAL BELIEFS i cant find any other info regarding my bold above.
