And the bin men in Glasgow have gone on strike this week, which should encourage more recycling.

And the bin men in Glasgow have gone on strike this week, which should encourage more recycling. LOL given that one SNP MSP said last week the litter and rubbish issues in Glasgow were Margaret Thatchers fault it would seem we have a way to go before they accept the blame.
Glasgows recycling rate is a pathetic 25%
it looks like a good indicator of where you fit on the list is how the people vote or perhaps affluence / deprivation
One notable exception to that rule would appear to be Westminster.
but very few below Glasgows rate.

Not amusing for the owner, someone stole his house. Another example of shocking police response saying it was a civil matter as no crime had taken place. Put yourself in his position. It's a solid reminder to keep checking your credit file for identity fraud and make sure important organizations have your current living address. If you want to listen, it's the You and Yours podcast 22oct on BBC sounds.

I'd have thought theft by fraud was a crime.
If I takeover your ID and empty your bank account that's identity fraud and is a crime, taking over your ID and selling your house isn't
Otherwise to take it to a conclusion I walk into currys wearing a staff badge I found and walk out with an Iphone and an ipod it's not a crime because the manager thinks I'm staff

It was the initial response he got from several attempts to report a crime to the police. Someone has stolen your house, sorry you'll need to speak to your solicitor. It's almost like the police are oblivious to several modern day crimes, no ?

The same police reaction to squatters, nothing we can do. I saw an interesting case abroad somewhere, where the owner of a property had been away for several years and came back to find his house had been demolished. The rumour was that someone decided to improve their view by knocking his house down! No one admitted doing it of course.

Squatters I can see but they are occupying the property ( and from knowledge possibly doing damage ), it's a civil issue, much as removing a tenant who won't pay the rent.
And don't even start me on councils paying the rent to tenants to pass over.

So was Johnson drunk, and maskless, onstage with Attenborough at COP26?

So was Johnson drunk, and maskless, onstage with Attenborough at COP26? Sat next to each other in the audience, with UN Sec-General Guterres on the other side of BJ Piffle. Drunk or just asleep? ...but... ...meanwhile, Charlie seems a tad unsure while talking to Trudeau...
