one of my American friends has suggested that Putin has "the dirt" on both Joe and Hunter Biden, and would use it in the event American retaliation.

I was at University with Ian and I think his patience with some of the more stupid questions is awe inspiring.
Even the trained lawyer is asking either Buddhist questions or wants to slip the answer in with the question. Plus the time wasting was terrible, long rambling questions to fill in the time and limit the Private Eye input.
Especially good when they began investigating shooting trips and football tickets amongst the committee, quickly stopped by the chairman. Then the "guilty" parties began to excuse why they had accepted these gifts.... even funnier that their excuses were so terrible and unacceptable.
So what we see here is the committee that controls corruption in the commons clearly showing that they don't recognise corruption.
Still at least there were no duck houses.

what do you do when you have 5 armed forces who all want the latest aircraft. You design one with 5 varients. So none are anygood. Do you think the generals ever heard of the Lockheed "widow maker" the last bomber/fighter the Yanks came up with

Still, with some of the c*** ups I've seen in systems specifications, its always possible. To be fair, LM have made rather a lot of other aircraft since the days of the Starfighter. And that was introduced in the days when all sorts of wacky stuff was coming out in the still relatively early days of supersonic/Mach 2 aircraft. Still, a downwards firing ejector seat was certainly one of the more wacky and less successful ideas. No 0/0 ejection happening there.
