Good point, on the other hand, I've never had to tag Spam within gmail and only a couple of times in outlook.

Don't make your P2P decision based on reviews, you'd be better asking your favourite influencer who isn't being paid anything of course. If you can't trust trustpilot then you might have to resort to Google, Apple, Faecesbook or Amazon online advertising.

While on the subject of fakes and scams, I see that Elon Musk has put the purchase of Twitter on hold while they argue about how many accounts are fake

I think he's realised his offer was way too high now he's actually bothered to run the numbers. Either that or he's just trolling the entire company because they blocked trump. There is some doubt whether the $1bn get-out fee was ever enforceable.

Fraud victims face call waiting lottery from banks
Choose your bank carefully. Not only does the government treat financial fraud as a joke, especially consumer fraud, most banks aren't much better.
First Direct top again and Coop Bank in a very familiar league table position for anything, bottom. No virgin or santander in the analysis. Clydesdale Bank used to answer every call within 10 seconds until they got into bed with Virgin Money. Try it now when 100k has gone missing from your account.

Ji-hye, an office worker from South Korea and mother of three children under the age of five, said she had invested all her savings in the cryptocurrency after reading of the 20 per cent yield ...... I saw my savings grow day by day with the 20 per cent interest rate, so I borrowed more money from the bank and put more on terra
There's no hope for some people

Just had a recorded message from Rachel at Amazon to let me know that my registered credit card had been charged with £599 for an iPhone 12.
Hope it was a new one, or thats well over the odds.

“Recorded” message from Rachel 🤣? I have never spoken to a Rachel from Amazon regarding orders. So, what did Rachel want? Sending you the phone for free?

I wouldn't expect any benefits from friendly Rachel unless you'll get jabbed.

Had a knock on the door lunch time and when I opened it there was a DPD courier man with a parcel. I explained that I wasn't expecting anything and checked the name and address:
- wrong name
- correct house number
- wrong street name
- correct post code
He took the parcel back and about an hour later a man knocked on the door asking if I had had a parcel delivered. When I said I sent it back he said it was his brothers, who lived in a village about 5 miles away. As I closed the door I started thinking 'how did he know it had been delivered to me by mistake'
Thank goodness for the DPD app. The driver today delivered the parcel to the wrong place but the app saves the day. Instant notification, showing where the parcel was left. Without the app, and the photo, it could have been claimed "delivered". The address on the label is correct but the delivery guy got it totally wrong!

I had a recorded message this morning offering a free diabetes test at a place I've never heard of and to call a number to book. I have no idea if it was a scam, and I'm not ringing the number to find out. I don't need a test anyway and they are free at the GP surgery, bizarre.

I wouldn’t say I was a bit paranoid but:
A few weeks ago I decided to transfer an ISA from A to B. Shortly after I sent the info off, I got a call on my mobile from A who said they wished to talk to me. They then said that to verify my identity, please could I tell them the 1st, 3rd and 8th letters from the password I’d used when I set up the account. I told them I didn’t disclose that type of info over the phone, as that’s the kind of thing a scammer might ask. They then said ok, well then I should phone them. I thought they may hang on the line, so I left it 2 days, before using a different phone.
turns out they were genuine & were only phoning me in the first place to check if my ISA transfer was genuine.
