I've recently put some money into CL but only a bit is actually in loans. Perhaps no one is wanting to pawn posh stuff anymore?
connectivelending need to be offering more loans to invest in.... before I lose interest (or rather gain interest) by investing elsewhere.

With CL there's really no need to have idle cash on the platform. They usually give 24 hours notice of upcoming loans, which is sufficient to get funds deposited. I do keep a very small amount of unassigned cash there, as they do occasionally offer immediate loans when a borrower needs the cash faster, but I only keep 1 loans worth there for this purpose.

Hardly worth the effort for the small amount I ever seem to be able to invest, even when there are loans.

From deep mistrust and suspicion to I cant throw enough money at it quick enough in 8 months?
Impressive and mildly troubling at the same time.
Maybe get ahead of the curve on this one and form CLAG on facebook.
I am more than happy with slow and steady organic growth, but then, I have many scars.

It is a rather irritating process even to get funds on the platform, and then you have to play fastest finger to get small amounts deployed. Rather too labour intensive for me at the minute. I dipped a toe but until it's a bit easier to lend I'm probably out.

I opened an account x weeks ago and there hasn't been a loan, what did I do ? It's rather strange, it did occur to me that it could be Covid related, hopefully all the staff are well.

It's been 3 weeks since the last loan. I don't know the reason, but it could be simply because of no demand from borrowers - it's a niche market.

Useful comments from everyone - thank you. Goes to show that success depends (amongst other things, like not going bust) on an "adequate" flow of opportunities; too few (as at present) people get bored and wander off; too many and ghosts of platforms past (Coll) (it is just after Halloween and coming up to Christmas) start rearing up.....

One of the other 2 that were updated today is the 30 day old Breguet Watch loan (no idea what the update was) . I couldn't find the other.
