On logging in to LW I was required to complete the 'Appropriateness Test', even though that is now completely redundant . After doing so correctly and then choosing which account I wanted to view, the Account Summary was greyed out and overlaid with the same popup requiring me to take the test. I completed the test again with the same result. The tab for feedback offered the correct screen but would not accept any input. I crashed out by closing the window.
We logged on to my wife's account and completed the test. This appeared to work and she was able to access her Classic Account however, on switching to her ISA account she was required again to complete the test.
I hope LW monitor this forum!

I log in most days and haven't had a problem, what is unusual is the page hasn't updated since before Christmas, I have made two withdrawals and the figures have remained the same.

Problem was caused by a Firefox browser update deleting cookies on exit from the LW website. It's ok now.

I have been asked to take the investors appropriateness test 3 times today (I took it twice). Get a grip LendingWorks. In any event we are withdrawers not investors because you have told us to get lost.

You may need to change browser. Kept repeating test on Safari, just needed doing once on chrome.

I'm not even going to bother, I can see the account total in the background, not wasting any more time with this company.
Most sites allow you to skip it until you try to invest new money, or am I imagining that ?

There's irony for you, Lending Works asking people to take an appropriateness test! If anyone needs testing to see if they are capable of making decisions on money management and whether they understand the protocol of peer 2 peer lending it's them. I'm sorry 'LW' you have failed miserably.

Had to take the test this morning, no problem when done, the page still hasn't updated although I have made two withdrawals.

Spot on. As much as it pained me and no doubt others, paying the escape fee now seems worth while. Worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Move on and forget them.

I have had trouble too being sent back to do the test again after I passed. Firefox seems not to work with it now. Managed to get in with another browser.
I must say that it does seem a bit rich coming from them when they cannot keep their own house in order.

Suspect the main reason is so that could sneak in updated terms? By signing you agree the T&Cs of 05th Jan. I canβt even be bothered to read, I just keep withdrawing when able to.

I had the same. Completed the test to get to "which account" and the same test again followed. I was a bit worried, but after the second test I was allowed in and made my regular withdrawal. I found it a little bit odd. On some other platforms you could still view your profile and do everything you need to do, except investing. I don't think they should be asking to complete the test in exchange for viewing your account or making a withdrawal. What about the investors who quit p2p long time ago and just trying to collect the recoveries, why should they need to pretend to be in any of the categories listed? I don't know if it is coming from FCA or a just a local interpretation, but don't think it is an appropriate measure to take.
