Switzerland to adopt EU sanctions against RussiaAfter some soul-searching, neutral Switzerland will adopt all EU sanctions against Russia.
There will be no exceptions: five oligarchs have already been banned from entering Switzerland, the bank accounts of all 336 people on the EU’s list, including Vladimir Putin and Sergei Lavrov, will be frozen with immediate effect.Along with Sweden supplying weapons, this is a big step for the non-aligned/neutral countries of Europe. Also I think that Finland is banning the sale of Russian vodka. Which is a big step for them as well. I believe they are also sending 2000 Swiss Army Rifles. You can amuse yourselves thinking of the 'attachments' they come with.

If Putin nukes anyone it will not be the USA, he knows what he'll get back, he will choose England being the most belligerent of the European nations as punishment. He will not go for a city, but one of our military bases, somewhere like Portsmouth Dockyard as a demonstration and then sit back and wait for America's reaction. Then we will find out who our friends really are and whether all those years of being America's poodle (that has got us where we are today) finally pays off! Sorry, just trying to think as he will do. Putin is now blaming Liz Truss for his nuclear escalation so I may be correct in putting the UK at the top of the target list for a nuke! www.express.co.uk/news/world/1572905/Ukraine-Russia-war-live-vladimir-putin-nuclear-threat-kyivSo we have to believe that 8 level black belt was made so scared by the words of a minister of "a insignificant island in the Atlantic", as he normally calls us, that he reached for the nuclear button. Probably time for the dried frog pills Mr President.

Meanwhile, the UK has also told ports not to provide access to any Russian-flagged, Russian-registered, Russian-owned or Russian-controlled ships, ahead of new legislation coming into effect.

Black belts above 1 or 2 are purely ceremonial, Klitschko brothers could wipe him out with one punch.
Now that Putin the Prick has threatened the UK with his nukes, Nicola Sturgeon is checking with the MOD if a direct hit on Scotland will trigger a response or be considered a miss.

On behalf of Ukraine , I think we should all send a message to Mr Putin thanking him for fast-tracking their EU and Nato membership and expediting the return of their occupied territories.

It will also accelerate a clean up of the city of London.

If stories i have heard of of the russian armys alcohol habit, cannot stop them drinking the anitifreeze.I suggest a new secret weapon , throw the neat vodka in unbreakable plastic bottles at the russian troops, victory assured.

The BBC seems to be doing its best to keep the head count in Ukraine steady by replacing evacuees with 'reporters'
Nice to see Fergal Keane on the case, he could make 'making a cup of tea' sound like the impending end of the World.

It does seem that Russia is losing the propaganda war badly. I do hope this doesn't spread to bombs on Moscow underground etc.

It does seem that Russia is losing the propaganda war badly. I do hope this doesn't spread to bombs on Moscow underground etc. In order to restart the war in Chechenya, Putin arranged for his agents to bomb some apartment blocks in Russia, which he then blamed on the Chechens. There is no level of cynical murder that the man would not stoop to. I am sure he will arrange an atrocity in Moscow that he will blame on Ukranians, to bring his country together to support his war. Here's the top article from Google about this, and it's good on detail. www.hudson.org/research/12750-vladimir-putin-1999-russian-apartment-house-bombings-was-putin-responsible

I think NATO should offer countries an intermediate level of membership. Currently, membership seems to be all or nothing. If Ukraine had NATO air support membership without "Boots on the Ground" membership, this conflict would be very different.
