No. With the following caveat for ISA transfers: "Transfer Outs will not incur any charges at present, however we would ask you to limit the number of Transfer Outs in any tax year, and we may need to review this in the future." Thank you. So charges for transfer out applied to both ISA and non-ISA accounts? No, there are no charges for non-ISA, never have been, they are straightforward bank withdrawals ... there were charges for ISA transfers (not withdrawals) because it was operated by a third party, Goji ... when Ablrate went into runoff they allowed one free transfer out with themselves taking the cost. Now they have taken the ISA in house they have removed all charges. Note we are referring to transfers not withdrawals ... they are not the same

Remember if you withdraw (as opposed to transfer) from an ISA account you will lose tax free status on the withdrawn sum now the Ablrate ISA is no longer flexible as you wont be able to replace the sums back into the ISA wrapper.

Loan 143. In the 15 May 2023 ablrate update, there was talk of ablrate filing a claim with the courts "within the coming week" if no useful comment or commitment had been received from the company or Director. Does anyone know if there was a suitable response, or if the claim was filed? So this one went from the 15th May position where a claim was to be filed within the coming week to the 10th July position of "We remain in contact with the borrower, and if necessary, we are prepared to initiate legal action in the coming weeks." Can kicked, no substantive update, no money. Does that seem a fair summary?Yes, you're spot on. Ablrate's default game is to just kick the can further and further down the road. How many years have we been "updates" from Ablrate in which there is not a reference to a single payment having been made for the majority of loans?

Status: Our aircraft agent has informed us that they are "still actively working on a sales agreement. The potential buyer remains interested in acquiring the aircraft; however, they have been somewhat slow in progressing the necessary steps to finalize the agreement". We are in regular contact with our agent and will continue to encourage prompt action from the buyer to expedite the process. How many years now?!

Everyone still of the opinion that a behind closed doors ablrate loan rundown is better than an open doors administration ? All I know for sure is DBW is unlikely to be giving this his full and undivided attention and given the disclosures about borrower links that were not disclosed by DBW, I think this is something he would like to put behind him at the earliest opportunity. Anybody seen those Antonov aircraft for sale anywhere? Me neither, now over three years since a payment was made. I must have missed this, where can I find the disclosures about borrower links?

To coin a phrase "most Ablrate updates nowadays are not worth the paper they're not written on". To suggest nothing has happened in the last 2 months because some bloke has been on paternity leave is a cracker. It reminds me of my working days when a supplier in South Wales claimed an important shipment had not left the factory because "Mrs Jones' cat died and the girls on the production line went to the funeral".

Maybe it was an "Immaculate Conception" as it appears to have come as something of a shock; as in "honestly Joseph, it was an angel"

What, if anything, is the relationship between DBW and the Ablrate PR lady / pilot who is featured on the corporate website? See dormant company ABLBODY officers and you'll figure it out

DBW just sent me a location map from Abra Dubai - do you think he's trying to tell me something?
