Meghan was financially independent before meeting Harry, salary apparently amounting to an easy $450K+ pa and could do what she liked. What was Harry on/doing again? Pocket money and didn't even have control of his facial hair  And he's an adult. 100% responsible for what he says, writes about, does, and has been a loose cannon since way before they met. Arguably his only charm! Infantilizing him by suggesting his wife's accountable for his behaviour and opinions, or suggesting all she could be attracted to in him was cash just makes me confused/laugh/sad for him... She was always going for The Title, and along with it the accompanying Grand Respectability, something money can't buy. But sex can?

Let's face it, William has none of the attraction trilogy whatsoever (fun, intelligence, looks) at least Harry was a bit of a partyboy! I would agree Harry is one of the more interesting members of the Windsor family who on the whole seem a bit sub par. Who knows maybe he isnt a Windsor at all...

Reading today's papers I see that the ginger whinger is spilling his guts AGAIN. I can't be bothered to read the articles to find out what he's whining about now, but it amazes me that he thinks anybody is still interested in anything he has to say. He and his missus have become a joke (witness THAT South Park sketch) even in their new country. I don't know what the future might hold for them. I hope they, or he, can gather some shreds of dignity together and live a useful life, but no sign of it yet. It's a tragedy really, but one of his own making.

Yep, I too groaned this morning when I saw him on the front page of some tabloid looking sorry for himself. Camilla Long in the Sunday Times was scathing about him. If he does comes to his dad's wedding, I wonder what sort of reception he'll get from the Great British Public?
(Today's Sunday Times was a very depressing read: Ukraine, Trump, Johnson, police not bothering with shop-lifting and other lesser crime, wholesale littering ...)

Most people I know either don't care or can't start him. I just don't understand what he's done that is so bad. Is it that he left the "official" royal family? Or married someone that nobody likes (or there are racist issues at play too?).
I'm in the don't care too much category as don't know him but he does seem to have had a tough life - I can't imagine what it would be like with mother dying at 12.

- He's had a priviledged upbringing that most could only dream of, and
- Despite having no discernible skills he has managed to amass millions purely on the basis of who his family are, and
- Despite items one and two, all he appears to want to do is appear in the US media and tell everyone how difficult his life is, and bemoan the fact that he's not as famous as his brother.
As for allegations of racism, if they're not prepared to say who said what then I take it with a pinch of salt. You know how it goes, if a black person and a white person get married it's fine for the parents of the black person to speculate on the colour of the baby. But if the parents of the white person do the same they are being racist.

You've forgotten leaves UK because of the press and then goes on every show they possibly can in the US. Agree completely regarding the racism side, something to drop in to get everyone interested. She's mixed race (or whatever the PC name is nowadays) rather than black which is always going to raise the raise the question of what colour will their baby be and is a perfectly normal question to ask unless you are woke and look for problems wherever you can find them.

Always use to make me laugh when they constantly referred to Barak Obama as the first black president of the USA. His mother (who rather strangley was called Stanley) was white, so he's as white as he is black.
