interestingly Farage is second favourite to be next PM after Rishi That's a fine demonstration of how little relationship the betting markets bear to reality.

If that was the case it would mean nobody would need to work as they could earn a living from betting. Farage is still 40:1 at the time of writing this so the fact he is second is broadly irrelevant.

Ive got as much chance of being PM ... only slightly more chance than he has of being Lord Farage MP

I say that because we have no idea what the polls are going to do after this announcement and its also too early to know how many MPs he is going field in total. On top of that, there is also the chance (however low) that Farage is begged to run the Tory party (thus skirting any 1922 issues) and somehow pulls off a victory for them. All highly unlikely, but 1 in 40 feels about right to me.

Love Clacton. Spent my eleventh birthday there , playing poker on the beach all week with my twin cousin. The loser pushed me down the concrete steps to the sands and broke my ankle . Later I threw soot in his face and blinded him in one eye. Its the sort of place where ANYTHING can happen.

There's only one really good way to earn a living from betting... If you don't know what that is, ask Denise Coates.

It doesn't make any difference. It's going to be a car wreck. It's going to be like watching the Labour sponsored car in a demolition derby and wondering which car is going to t-bone them or whether they'll roll it themselves and land on the roof.

For those who think a Labour government is inevitably going to be a disaster, I have two questions, one of which is multipart...
1. Do you think the Tories have managed the country well since the... 1a. 2010 1b. 2015 1c. 2017 1d. 2019 ...elections?
2. Who do you think, of all the other current parties and positions, is best placed to manage it going forwards?

Could anyone hear Nige on Radio 4 Today? I could only hear Mischa Hussein spraying him with grief.

Last time Labour 'got in' they did tory polices for two years anyway - whilst beginning what used to be called 'mass-immigration' and now as population replacement. Labour are just as bad and I would not expect ANY improvement because the rundown of my country is already baked-in. For you perhaps: Which policies of Labour would make life better in any tangible fashion? (I geniunely want to know, I want to know what their 'good ideas' are)

I don't think either of these questions is relevant to the competencies of the next Labour government.

I don't think either of these questions is relevant to the competencies of the next Labour government. Given that the election is a choice between continuation of the current government and a Starmer-led one, I'd say it's very relevant.
