The very sad reality of course is that culturally, the UK is changing very fast indeed and Happy Holidays is just a very annoying symptom of it. There may well be significant benefit economically. IMHO the reason against mass immigration often given by the popular traditional press is the wrong one - namely that such folk are likely to cost the economy whereas in fact they add economic value. BUT we lose our culture. We've become a hodge podge mix of people who largely do not mix despite the odd use case picked up by the Woke movement. I think its a real shame and its definitely too late as we have already assimilated far too many people. I watched this guy last night along with a few million other people. All those people in Jaywick and elsewhere essentially kicked out of London - really grim. www.youtube.com/watch?v=omtg122Ym0Q

Really...? Isn't that exactly what this whole thread's about? "Me, ME! It's all about ME! You have to do it the way I WANT! Any other view is much less important. I'll be VERY offended if you don't use the words I WANT TO HEAR!"Your italicised quote would seem to fit exactly The PC Lefty Wokes? Really? It was actually a paraphrase of the opening post of this thread.

Quite. It's been turned into one of those faux woke liberal tropes so beloved of the likes of the Trumpian wing of the Republican party, US Evangelicals (OK, at the moment the latter are a subset of the former), and the British "Redtop" media.
It's probably 35+ years since I parted ways with my American Jewish partner, but I was using "Happy Holidays/Seasons Greetings" blah blah back then, without an inkling it would become a populist "anti-woke" hate target. Indeed, had you told me back then it was "woke", I would have look puzzled and probably attempted to correct your grammar while figuring out why you were using a verb rather than an adjective.

Solstice Blessings (In a couple of days) one and all. If i'm going to pick something to worship, I pick the sun. At least it's not imaginary like the magical sky people of other religions!

Feliĉan Kristnaskon al ĉiuj. Come on, it’s just season greetings. I have plenty of non christians saying this to almost every body whether religious or not, buddhists, muslims and atheists, including cards and presents from muslim friends.

'course, the actual objection here isn't that people are trying to stopping you, Oz, Michael, Berny, Ethel, Marky, Mogish from saying whatever the hell you want to whoever the hell you want... Fill yer boots. It's that you want others to be stopped from saying things to you that don't fit your preference. Why can't they have the same freedom as you? Why do a few friendly syllables different cause you such anguish? Indeed, what's so different between "happy holidays" and the phrase you just used, "seasons greetings"? Neither explicitly reference one particular winter celebration, but both can be taken to include it. A cynic might suggest it could be described as "snowflake cancel culture".

Oh, I'm not going to explode. I understood OP's message quite well. He isn’t stopping anybody. Just greetings.

I've never had a Happy Holidays card. I wouldn't mind although I would assume it was from a long lost American cousin, it is just a holiday for a lot of people, but most seem to go for Merry Xmas or Seasons Greetings whatever their religion or lack of.

Well, very unlikely to receive one from J Witness. , may return a free mag or study instead.

Well, very unlikely to receive one from J Witness. Do they send cards? Seems a bit frivolous. They don't celebrate Christmas or send cards. Ditto birthdays. I know this first-hand because a family member spent many years as a JW. Not sure why JWs singled out though. There are, of course, millions who don't send Christmas cards for religious reasons.
