MIGHT have taught her a lesson. Sa she wasn't legally represented as "Solicitors wanted £50,000 up front" she has "an appropriate adult" with her I always thought that was for kids I thought adults had McKenzie friends, She's been missing court dates, and not co-operating for > 4 years ( wonder if she reads up on how some P2P borrowers behave). I wouldn't be surprised if she misses court again with her PTSD etc, she's already asked if she can appear over zoom or from a side room. Judge said no.

she has "an appropriate adult" with her I always thought that was for kids ...or for adults who are vulnerable through learning difficulties or mental illness.

Innocent until proven guilty?Absolutely but in a crime like this the publicity is likely far more of a punishment than a sentence. Hence my comment about the media somewhat deciding his fate.

It seems the church wants to sack him a long time but there’s not enough “material” to do so. What is a Canon Sacrist anyway? The police took no further actions over the years. Canon slightly higher ranking than a standard Vicar, usually because they work in a Cathedral Sacrist or Sacristan, looks after the Church and contents and is often involved in organising services etc

The muslim president of a prestigious private ivy league university in the USA resigned the day after a judge in California ruled that UCLA - which saw violent protests break out on campus in May - must prevent protesters from blocking Jewish students from campus facilities.
Judge Mark Scarsi ruled that protesters had “established checkpoints and required passers-by to wear a specific wristband to cross them”, and blocking “people who supported the existence of the state of Israel”. “Jewish students were excluded from portions of the UCLA campus because they refused to denounce their faith,” Judge Scarsi wrote in the order.

I imagine you are as outraged as I am that rioters convicted of violence got 2-3 years while the peaceful climate protestors got 5 years.
