I have no doubt, in my mind that the CPS will not allow prosecution of these 2 thugs, and will have the 2 police officers prosecuted, I also believe that any private prosecution of them will be taken over by the CPS and discontinued.
It is fairly obvious from what had come out so far that the police footage does not show the initial assault of the female officer, and I believe this is a decision made to enable the 2 officers concerned to be thrown under the bus.
In a similar situation if someone attacked my daughter and broke her nose, I would probably lose it and give them a kicking. People are making judgements without having the full evidence, and we need to know both sides rather than what is being presented which is "2 innocent men violently attacked by police thugs"

...and, of course, if the CPS do launch charges, RefUK will claim it was only because of their pressure...

Stupid court cases like this one draining the resources of top judges and barristers. There are plenty of people who rely on the courts for far more important things. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5yjlpjeg2jo

The bigger issue with giving access to the lumpenproletariat to similar civil court redress is the systematic funding slashes to Legal Aid under the last government.

I didn't say it was. I said there are plenty of much more important cases to be heard. Evictions for example.

The end of Buddhist Lent is one of the five major Buddhist holidays in Thailand. Awk Phansa, will take place on Thursday, October 17th this year, and a nationwide sales ban on alcohol will be enforced for 24 hours.
Why did nobody tell me.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c23kdjxxx1joHeadline says: Russian cash-for-votes flows into Moldova as nation heads to pollsRead the article and it turns out there have been a number of Moldovans returning from Russia with a 3K or 4K Euros. Not illegal the article says but then goes on to say that the money was confiscated anyway. For a lot of folk I suspect this article is boring as what do most people care about Moldova. I find it troublesome that our state broadcaster tells such lies. The French and German state broadcasters are a beacon of honesty in comparison.

It seems in line with an article I read in the Economist earlier. Please would you call out what you saw as "lies"?
