yes but down a pavement ... I've just watched the clip again and noticed, a split second before the collision, the pedestrian flicks his arm out! That's what catches the tearaway biker and brings him down. Best to open full screen to see it. Maybe it was pure reflex action from fear of being smashed into.

There was something on the news this morning about police in London seizing illegal e-bikes (over powered and on pavements), I think they had seized over 350 recently, a lot from delivery riders.

I remember a few years ago on a narrow country road seeing a young woman on a bike with two small children on bikes cycling too far ahead of her, she also had a toddler on the back seat of her bike and a dog tied to the handlebars. It looked like an accident, or several, waiting to happen. The road although looking quite quiet was a bit of a rat run with blind corners, very fast cars and potholed edges. I always hoped they got where they were going safely and didn't do it too often!

There was a story from Beeb, it’s legal for companies to make money E-scooter seizures rise as sellers 'mislead buyers' www.bbc.com/news/articles/c720pwy3n68o

Pretty sure Turkish customs are very good stopping laptops and mobile phones into their territory. Second hand mobile phones are not allowed to enter there.
Airport have scanners to detect batteries right?
And if MI5 really care, they will find a clever way right?

Airport have scanners to detect batteries right? And if MI5 really care, they will find a clever way right? Turkey makes too much money from forward trade to Russia to stop that. MI5 has too many other things to worry about than e-scooters. They'll keep their powder dry for important stuff.

Phoning Fedex this morning, +180024747. I expect the official prompt speaks English (American), but I hear Espanol all the way.
