Here comes a really good one: I complained to FC that comments to troubled loans lack a date in their repayments tab. (The time information given is in the format 'day of the week, day of the month, hour, but lacking the year.) To which FC replied: "... If you are looking at loans that you own and scroll down to the My Comments section you will see that here it does show the year. Whereas if you look on the repayments tab it does not show the year, having the day there does mean you can work out the year using a calendar. I can understand that this is a more lengthy process..." Translation: 'We'd change it but it might mess something up'

But maybe they could follow their own advice and use a calendar to work it out?

Don't think that would work. Their calendar doesn't show number of days in month correctly. 30 day months tend to confuse repayments and as for February - expect lots of fun next Feb 29th!

As for the new standard images for the different loan types on the loan requests page they are far less distinct and look like long distance shots of the same Richard Scarry book.

Perhaps we should suggest some better loan icons. I'd propose this for all Whole Loan rejects: Or perhaps this more positive presentation for whole loan rejects, where, if we understand correctly, the chap is very happy with the lunch which someone else has finished with. (Can't remember where that idea came from):

Still no fees charged on 15499 or 15562 with their third repayment this week. Are there any other magic loans I should be looking out for...?

I've noted a few instances lately of parts that I have put up for sale staying for sale for 2 or 3 days beyond the 14 days. My records are compiled daily and I am certain this is not my mistake. Must be a technical error or maybe another time warp in the Faulty Calendar.

Perhaps it only happens when you don't look. Sometimes parts get mysteriously delisted. I've seen that a few times. I've also seen where the number of parts of a loan actually on the SM is more than the SM listing says, and when parts I've listed aren't actually there (when viewed from another account of course). There are other events reported, but possibly you are first to spot this one. I guess in the phenomenon you're getting, the clock may jump backwards at some point, perhaps when interest payments are made, or when they're fiddling about renaming parts or distributing a late CB or something like that. Most intriguing.

Most intriguing. I never look at the Time Left column except on day 14 to see whether the loan has come off yet - and immediately after putting up for sale, to check that loans I've put up for sale actually have been (lost count of the number of times they haven't been!).
I've always put the "mysterious delisting" down to the loan going "Processing" and then back to "Live" before I noticed - I'm sure that would cause the loan to come off the market and I'd be astounded if Flakey Computers had a procedure for reinstating the listing once it went back to Live. But who knows, I may be totally wrong; it may just be because there's a "y" in the day.
