Is it just me or have other people got pages of 'Processing' loans from last night? Maybe Failed Calendars are having a practice run for next weekend. The 29th Feb is almost certain to cause a major blip in the system. (Technical problem caused by unexpected event) ... and there are 816 loans due to make a repayment on 29th Feb, more than double the normal daily figure (i.e all those normally repaying on 29th/30th/31st). Might be carnage, although there's really no reason why it shouldn't just go through like Fancy Clockwork!

"We would like to inform investors that you may notice an increase in loan parts with a 'processing' or 'late' status. This is due to our third party provider experiencing a technical error when processing the payments made by borrowers. Investors should see that this is resolved within two days of the expected repayment date. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions please call our Customer Relations team on 0207 401 9111 (9am-6pm)".
A technical error then?

In addition to the abnormal heap of "processing", I seem to be building an increasingly large accumulation of completed bids simply not drawn down. Anyone else noticed this? Is it the time of year? The weather? Perhaps it's just coincidence.

So there are now 397 loans that should have (and in the vast majority of cases, will have) made a repayment to Failed Cashiers on 21st and 22nd February, where the money has not been paid to investors. Trouble is we can’t see whether any of these loans genuinely have missed a payment by dodgy borrowers. We'll see how many of the 479 loans due to make a payment tomorrow are processed by their so-called “third party provider”. This simply is not good enough.

And one of those loans - 10082 - is back to paid-up, after being almost a month late, some of which was due to an error in de-flagging it... LET ME SELL!

Well they seem to have finally paid last month's repayment, and get Faintly Cumbersome to process it. Unfortunately this months repayment, which was due yesterday, is now showing as "retry"...

They forgot to tell FC that they'd been taken over, then cancelled the DD without setting a new one up. FC are Fairly Convinced it's all good, but they would say that, wouldn't they?

Payment seems to have cleared now. Do your worst! Worry ye not. It went up this morning, at just enough of a premium to cover the fees and keep it away from Autobiddies. Nobody's bitten yet - give it a day or so, and it'll come down a notch or two until it sells, or until it gets close to the next repayment - at which point; sorry, Autobiddy...
