kt - we do not know why property loans were not offered as whole loans - we could speculate. bigfoot - we believe the stated return is on the complete FC loan book.
arbster, many thanks for your further analysis. Yes I did have an idea of how my complicating factors would affect the answers. You have convinced me that an element of the institutional whole loan buyers, outside of the trust, has been applying additional filters which have effectively improved the loss performance of the holding over that of those offered. And that whole loan rejects are best staying rejected.
Maybe that is why the trust was not permitted to do the same.
But 11 property defaults? Is that the case - I have never heard of one?

But 11 property defaults? Is that the case - I have never heard of one? Sorry, I was a bit loose with my language - I put loans that are more than 30 days late in the same bucket as defaults, because it sometimes takes FC a very long time to formally default a loan. There are 11 property loans that fall into this category. Of 736 loans, 615 are formally defaulted and 121 are "very late".

Can anyone download the loanbook? I've been getting "500 - Internal server error" for the last 24 hours.

Attempting to view my transactions statement. Apparently, I have "no transactions for June 2016". Anyone else got this?

Frequently. In fact it means that you are one of those inconsiderate lenders who generate more transactions that the system can cope with. You should buy £2000 loan parts rather than many small ones. FC do not like to upset you with the truth of the effects of your bad behaviour.

Is anyone else seeing a new improved version of the FC site as of 30 June? This morning, my summary page is suddenly a shambles in Firefox ... No sign of the "FC total" graphic, no comments section at all, cannot expand the "Loan Parts" or "Bids" for more detail, so can't see or export them. Everything is tiny print, scattered to the four corners of a 23" monitor. The "Sell loan parts" page has also died, the former tabs for Sold/Sell Manual/Autosell etc. are just four links that don't click, and below that it is a "Loading loading loading loading" text. Naturally, it doesn't load The "Upcoming auctions" page is mostly a fat advert for ISAs, with the loans stuffed off to the right somewhere. Browser restarted, no help. Had to turn off "Style sheets" to use anything. What happened? EDIT: Some hours later, all better now ...

Hey everyone,
How do I know when one of my loans has missed a payment? So far on the comments section, it only notes when a payment has been late and has been received. What if a payment wasn't received at all?

If it's not received it'll show as retry. Then Late. It stays as 'late' until it IS received (or until the loan is defaulted or whatever). The repayments tab tells all.

That's right. It does not appear in your recent loan comments until someone - a human - is inspired to write a comment. You can find which loans have not paid by ordering your loans on the summary page by date of repayment and looking through the recent ones. If they paid they are live, if they did not they are processing (a euphemism) which means they have not been paid yet. You can then go to the repayments tab on the individual loan page for more detail - retry, late. Even when late, you do not get a comment until one is written, and so you cannot rely on the recent comments list to tell you about all the late loans, though eventually all late loans do get a comment.

So let's say I look at my loan parts and check which loans are still processing (so a few days late). I have tried selling these loans on the SM, but I don't seem to be able to do it. Is there a rule saying that you can't sell a loan part if they are a few days late on a payment? That would make sense.
