Is the whole site grinding to a end of the working week halt for anyone else at the moment? (e.g. 2-3 minutes for it to display the pie chart upon logging in, 30 seconds to recognise a change to SM filters). I have recently migrated over to the East Midlands, home of appalling broadband, so I can't rule out that that's the cause  |

I was keeping an eye open this afternoon, because with all the page tweaks and sluggish performance, if they do happen to put an "E" rated loan up, there might be a chance of getting a nibble.

The site is moving at glacial pace when viewed from Yorkshire. I suspect that over-vigorous salsa sessions this afternoon probably dislodged the 16K RAM pack from the back of FC's server. (one for the kids there  ) |

And now they only show 25 loans per page instead of 40 - yet another pointless small step towards making the site harder to use (especially when combined with the new ridiculous sort method).

My guess is that the rest of the IT crew (19 now required) are all holed up in a shabby lot of apartments (bedsit hotel ?) in the S**** Sis**** R**d drinking the Friday FC beer, singing about the good old days and searching for a 5 year old to show them how to operate a computer.

I think the changes have caused problems for the roboteers. Getting Cs and Ds has definitely been a more leisurely exercise today, and at one point I even saw a small E appear (although I wasn't fast enough to get any of it).
I worry that it may affect my strategy though. At the moment I grab whatever Cs and Ds I can, safe in the knowledge that bots will be hoovering up the rest before autobid has a chance. So, when I bung my parts up a day or two before I predict the roboteers will flood the market, there's plenty of autobid bites. Without the bots, autobidders will collect their fill from the PM, leaving no takers for my 3-and-a-bit week old pre-loved bits.

Here's a good one (may be an old one but I've only just noticed it): after clicking on My Loan Parts/More detail, see what all subsequent clicking on More detail or Less detail does. So at Friday Cafeteria more really does mean less  |
