Computer says yes! Autobid says yes! So who cares?

All safely filled and now available on the SM.
What a set of incompetent d1pst1cks, both FC and manual lenders, I'd like to hear what is said when someone in the higher echelons at FC learns about this.

More finger slippage, this time of a different variety - 39561 just launched on the primary market as a 60 month D @ 13.5%. This is now RBR, with no comment, hopefully only temporary while they sort the mess out.

Very interesting, thanks wiseclerk . Is it still too soon to have an inkling of FC UK's performance? Given the apparent quality of the SME loans on offer across the risk spectrum, I'd be amazed if their performance was significantly better. Edit: Although I'm certainly glad there's a secondary market unlike Germany!

Can anyone log in at the moment? I can enter username/password but then the security question page is totally blank. Happens on iPhone and Firefox.

I can do better than that, I can enter username/password and then get 502 Bad Gateway using both Firefox and Chrome. Whatever it is, it's bad timing as it will interrupt both the session in the pub and the table tennis.

Unscheduled maintenance is over, normal ping pong/salsa dancing/beer drinking has resumed. Sadly, the work package didn't include sorting out 39561.

Ref the German loan book ---Phrasing it differently one could say that 9.6% (6,4M/66,6) of all issued loans are currently overdue or in default.---
Very interesting.
Correct me if I am wrong but in Germany it is illegal to delay payments to debtors (for over a month?) Thus must be a massive help to small German companies - conversely I wonder if the UK FC loanbook is even more vulnerable. With all the competition in this market and FC's total inability to convince me they know what they are doing I wonder how strong this worldwide brand actually is...

Is FC totally falling apart? I have tried many times today to use the website 'Contact Us' form, but each time I try to send the message I get the 'Oops something's wrong' response. Has FC closed the contact facility in addition to the Blog?
Perhaps I can live in vain and hope that FC reads this forum? If it does, then here is my question(s):-
Re Loan 22184. (F*g T*e* H*l*) The note added to this overdue loan today states that the borrower has been unable to obtain an external refinance. Has FC not offered this option to the borrower. If not, why not? Has FC rejected such a possibility. Please confirm. If so, it is of concern that the note continues 'At this stage, we do not believe investors' funds are at risk as we are confident that the property will be sold and repayment made from the sale proceeds'. Something is wrong somewhere, and this seems like once again information is being withheld from investors, and it looks like another Short Term Property Loan London in the making (or made)!
On a second issue, repayments on Loan ID 26590 are now more than 2 months late, yet investors have not received any notification or information. Surely FC has followed this up many weeks ago?
You must be aware that investors are deserting FC as quickly as they can off-load their investments. The scarcity of loan requests on the platform might suggest that potential borrowers are doing likewise?
I'm not holding my breath for a reaction
