I wonder what constitutes "essential" maintenance?
May be the system threw a wobbler at having to sell all the loan parts without the usual fee!

My fault - we've been running a relatively large loan repayment through the site (18k loan units) and thanks to a missing index on one of the tables it's been using far more resources than it should. The site isn't so much down as taking too long to respond triggering a timeout on the load balancer.
Normal service will be resumed shortly.

All back up and running now and the three loan repayments that had stalled have been processed. Now the index is in place they take seconds to run rather than the one hour plus that it was taking before.

And unless the LtL No.1 entry above was a typo, that's gone too, though there are now £400 of LtL No.2 parts available. It's been quite a busy day for loan parts. I wonder if that's the result of the removal of the selling fee?

It's been quite a busy day for loan parts. Indeed - £52,000 of loan units have been sold on the aftermarket today. And if lenders still have funds available, Friday could be a busy day as well. Another big batch of Anglesey loan parts has been made available, as well as a big batch of Leeds Commercial Property. In fact, it looks like about £50k of each.

I was the seller of the CC parts, which is still my 2nd largest holding. I used the funds and a little extra deposited to buy some parts in the other loans not counting the 6.5% mortgage stuff.

I just tried to use Go Cardless, but was rejected because it cannot accept my French postcode. By the time a transfer appears on my account, about 3 days and maybe more as the weekend is coming although my HSBC says 2 hours maximum, I expect all the resales will be long gone.

CC hotel, CC leisure & Acies too. The removal of fees seems to have brought great liquidity at last!
Amazing how the removal of even a small fee makes us less possessive of these units. Great & clever move on AC's part.
Any announcements on new loans btw over the next few days?

James, have you contacted AC directly to see if they can resolve or bypass the issue? Seems a shame for you to miss out.
