There's now a fair chunk of auction 45.

As well as the usual suspects, the first time I've ever seen any Auction 21 (T*Y Ltd) come up on the aftermarket. About 1K left at the time of writing...

I had a look last night and there was an assortment available including L2L2. most have gone, but the last £100 of L2L2 appears reluctant to go.
I wasn't around in the early days when this loan appeared, so I don't understand why anyone would buy in at 6.5%

I wonder how many lenders looked at the interest rate and the cashback, added them together and thought they would be earning 10%.

Could be a slight difficulty in selling this on the aftermarket at 6.5% especially as there are far superior returns available. Once the other two 'biggies' go to drawdown then the underwriters will be looking to offload these as well. Makes 6.5% small bear IMO.

I also was surprised to see how quickly loan parts in these 6.5% loans have been bought in the past. Not instantly, as with small quantities of everything else, but they generally do find a new home soon enough. Then again, I'll admit to having bought small bits of these loans myself just to have a first hand experience of how they are proceeding, though in retrospect I'm not sure my participation really gives me access to any more into than would be available to a non-lender AC member.

I sold the last of my 6.5% buy to let loans a few months ago, having been a bidder in the auctions. But I guess they still look ok compared to Zopa, and plenty of people still use them. With the lot LTV it's hard to see these loans ending with a lender loss.

And the seller probably did find a buyer, because it's no longer available.
