Hmm just sold 11 pieces of the first tranche and replaced them immediately with 11 pieces of second tranche + 1% cashback. Glad I don't use autobid.
Have done the same with 43 parts of £20 and £40. Only eight of those parts could possibly be Autobidders, the rest being multiple manual (or bot) purchases. Of course the first tranche will earn straight away and must be slightly safer, in that it could be paid off first (say FC in the blurb). But I cannot see a one bedroom flat being sold in stages and the security on the second tranche being reduced. Yes, I considered the slightly increased risk but decided that the extra 1% was worth it (in fact, it's worth slightly more than 1%, as I see it) The 11 parts I mentioned shifted within a few minutes - within hours all 40 had sold. Curious to see that a lot of different simple names all bought 4 parts each. Bots?

Yes, at least one bot for me. They are very efficient in the use of time, but slow to recognise changed circumstances. Many times have I found and fed hungry bots - a sort of charity work.

Still no sign of 12707 (the big first tranche 24 monther that FC had to shove over the line last week) appearing on the SM. If anyone had a bid in, is it still showing Pre-agreement or has it been withdrawn?

I'm in You obviously haven't realised that the ex-coalition's immigration policy was particularly lax about controlling the unacceptable influx of hobbits searching for a better life above ground. Nevertheless, I have added my few pence to the cause.

Would chip in but all tied up in previous parts not shifting on the SM

I see that loan 6504 (Barrowby) has been repaid in full today, so that's another £650k plus interest that could hit the market if everyone is re-investing the proceeds in new loans. Further to this, I see loans 8767 and 8957 (Essex), each of £250k, have also been repaid early. 1 more tranche (10375) remains, but that's only for £70k, so I'd be surprised if it lasts very long, despite claiming to have 19 months remaining. So far that's over £1.15M from these 3 loans alone within the last 2 working days!

(and north of a dozen on the SM within a couple of minutes of bids converting into parts - including a couple at 3% markup... <shakes head>) IIRC the record is held by some of the early C- loans when a C- at MBR (10.5% back then) was flippable at a profit straight away. Something under ten minutes from start to fully funded, 90% bought by one or two big bot users, although a lot longer before they turned into loans (if they did) and hit the SM.

A bit of conflation there of the MBR debacle of June 2103 and the later introduction of the C-. For one week MBR was introduced at 6% 7.5% 9.3% and 10.5% for a C (no C-). These rates were much greater than currently available and as soon as any was listed it was gone in a flash. 2883 and 2885 both were filled and closed in 4 minutes (I remember increasing my holding by about £20k). Then the MBR was pegged back - I think to about 6,7,8,9, and things settled. The C- (or D really) loans were introduced a month or two after that but with MBR of 11.5%. Then they went in a flash, as correctly said by GSV. But I am not sure if the record time to fill at MBR is held by a loan during MBR debacle week or one of the smaller C- loans snapped up by a large buyer. Those were the days.
