You're right it was 11.5%, not 10.5%. Second time I've made that mistake, must be getting old!! I think it was a small C- that took the record though, with bots tuned to look and leap within a minute of a listing going live. Sadly I have not data back that far, but I suppose we could still go and look at 'all bids'.

12965 just appeared: A+, 8% plus 2CB, 12 months, £256k, second and final tranche. Likely to go fairly quickly I suggest.

It's a good 'un (in CB terms). 12972: A+, 8% plus 2CB, 4 months, only £59k. Fill your boots (quickly!)
[Not sure that one really needs CB to fill, but who's complaining?! 60% filled in under 10 minutes ....]

All gone in under 15 mins Now there's a surprise... <looks at borrower> Oh, right... Yes, that probably explains it... G**d B***h. Our just-about-flooded-the-market friends from E**ing, aka M**p**h M**s**ns etc. Hmm. It's probably a better alternative to a funding/timescale c**k-*p than Our F****ds in the N**th just forgetting to pay back for another month or two.

There seems to be no logic to how CB is being applied at the moment. Yesterday we had a £59k 4-monther with 2%CB ladled on top (gone in 12 minutes). Today we have 12995, an A+ £135k 16-monther at 8% with no CB at all; it's the second tranche but the first tranche (£407k) enjoyed 1%CB. Yet a different property loan to the same developer was thought to warrant 10% for A+, £435k, 6 months.
I suspect this one may be small enough to fill slowly via Autobid over 7 days, but who in their right mind would bid manually on it in the current CB climate?

who in their right mind would bid manually on it in the current CB climate? Note to self, don't bid on property loans whilst being distracted

I didn't see the £59k 4-monther at the time, but on tracking it down, I see it was the final tranche of a development which has received nearly £2M of funding, so based on previous experience with later tranches of such large developments, FC may well have expected it to be slow-selling without a cashback incentive. Perhaps the speed with which it disappeared has triggered FC to revise their estimates of when cashback is necessary. It seems to me that "the current CB climate" now has no cashback available at all on the primary market (as all cashback-enabled loans have been filled). There still seem to be opportunities to pick up second-hand cashback (i.e. discounts) on the secondary market... but I don't see those lasting long if no new cashback-enabled loans get posted on the primary market.

I missed the small four month final tranche. With 2% cash back that was worth 6% annualised and it must have been clear that it was not needed for such a small loan (pace sl75). It would have gone quickly at 1% - and then perhaps I would have got some. But I did wonder what FC were signalling with that gratuitous 2% flourish. We lend in interesting times.
