Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

This one does not seem quite so popular. Am I missing something?

The reason may also be to do with other dopey idiots like me who thought it went live at 12 noon. Phew I nearly missed it!

I agree. The last large-ish FS loan was for £190k, had a £5k limit, and was fully subscribed in 11 minutes. I took a look at the bids on that one, and if it had had a £1k limit those bids would have totalled £79k. And that's about what happened today -- the £120k loan was about two-thirds full in about ten minutes. Right now, a bit more than two hours after its release, the loan is 98% full. So it looks like FS got the maximum about right.

Had I known it would be available for a couple of hours, I could have invested.

No luck for me. I thought it was because I was a few minutes late.
