Suggestion: Is TheHouseCrowd (http://www.thehousecrowd.com) too far from "pure" p2p to be included. We've already got plenty of P2B entries (FC, Assetz etc.) on top of the real P2P (Zopa, Ratesetter)
They don't have an official forum for members, and there is a small thread on Zopa's forum for them, beyond that it's a blog and Facebook.

Yeay! I've tucked the Test area out of the way to make a bit more room. Suggestion: Is TheHouseCrowd (http://www.thehousecrowd.com) too far from "pure" p2p to be included. Good suggestion, thanks!

Can we have a prev/next page button at the bottom as well as the top? It's a bit of a pain having to go back to the top to get to the next page when I'm still on my first morning banana.

Pleased to announce that Frazer accepted the invitation to join so I've added a board for THC.

Hey Guys,
I've been thinking it might be good to add a new "Other Investments" thread; a bit like at the old place. From time to time, shares, gold, funds and investment trusts were discussed, and the Royal Mail IPO showed there is demand to discuss these kind of topics.
I appreciate there are dedicated investment forums for this elsewhere on the internet, but if the last independent forum was anything to go by, P2P lending is the first introduction to any kind of investment for some people, and once they get started, they start thinking about others. For anybody in this position, navigating some of the share/specialised investment forums out there can be a daunting task; especially given that sharks lurk.
Was thinking it would be nice to be able to give people the opportunity to gain a more gentle introduction here.
Cheers.
Jimbo

It certainly would be of service to newbie investors, but how big might it grow? Might it make the job of moderating the posts unmanageable? I can't speak from experience here, just being cautious.
