Well that sounded like an enthusiasts 'apology' for the wayward behaviour of his favourite vintage motor as he crawls out from under it covered in oil - yet again. But I didn't want to buy a lovely old MG, it was meant to be a slick Hybrid Toyota 'shopping trolley'(other makes are available). Then don't invest in that account if it isn't for you or isn't working how you'd like it to. It's not you only option for investing on the platform and there are other options coming. As I said I'm working on a fix and it'll be with you shortly, but I can't break the laws of physics to deliver that more quickly nor am I about to pull the account from the platform. What else would you have me say or do? Well perhaps I should lead by example and you'll get the drift. I apologise for expecting a publicly available investment opportunity to perform in a logical way. I also apologise for pressing you on it and making you (apparently) angry. I do not, however, apologise for caring more than I perhaps should about the public perception of your company - somebody should!

However I've said we're working on a fix, I've given you a practical timeframe for it being deployed, and I've invited suggestion for what I could do to go beyond that. I can't pull the account. It's working fine for the £2.5+m invested by others. Improvements are coming very soon to make sure it works in the edge cases where it currently trips up. Yet you compare me saying this to someone defending an old unreliable car. Honestly I haven't a clue what you're expecting me to say to you beyond what I already have, or what action you're expecting me to take that I haven't already committed to.

... apologise ... apologise ... apologise ... It looks like that was too subtle...

Then I will throw subtlety to the wind and say straight out that a detailed explanation of your problems in engineering this undoubtedly complex facility is nowhere near as effective as a simple apology. In explaining your problems, and the proposed remedies, you are indeed being open and informative, but in a problem solving mode - your problems. The average customer, when complaining, is hoping for acknowledgement of their problems! This simple strategy (of unreservedly apologising) has, in the past, been used successfully by a surgeon who mistakenly performed an unnecessary operation on somebody's eye - the meeting ending with a handshake and a smile. It seems too simple a strategy to be believable, but I can assure it works - and I'm not a surgeon by the way.

Not wishing to step into the middle of a handbag fight, but on a slightly related note since I've been dipping into my AC account, anyone know how long its been that 'Bespoke Investment Accounts' have been 'Coming Soon' ? For appearances sake it would be best surely to remove this from the dashboard page at this juncture.

Two new accounts will be launched in August, one before the new coding one after. Chris has had a rummage in his handbag and found two shiny new ones.

Quite a nice example of different perspectives and the way people view things differently. And yes I get the duplication there! in terms of the coming soon banner, I think chris suggested that there would be two new accounts coming. August was also mentioned, which for me at least qualifies as soon. any hints as to what these accounts may offer though?

From a bystander point of view (and thinking of my <0.01 shareholding) I'm quite pleased geia is popular enough to outstrip supply. I'll admit though, I expected #180 to have generated a bit more movement as funds waiting to be deployed with plenty of availability should be enough for things to bounce around a bit. However, like some others I expect, I have targets above holdings for most WT loans so MLIA is part of the problem - draining an already low supply. More green loans are needed and hopefully Chris' algorithmic tweaking will help.

So about 10 months after the original placeholder was put on the site and 9 months after they were being launched in 'about 2 weeks'. As to slow off the mark, I like to give the benefit of doubt and a bit of schedule leeway. I'm a generous soul. p2pindependentforum.com/post/29385/thread

Getting more levels and through helps with getting a amounts settled, diversity etc etc. There has been 1x WT in July and there is another scheduled for August, so I'm hoping that this trend continues or accelerates.

I thought my Mum always told me I was artistic but perhaps I was one letter out. I work with computers not people for a reason. The bespoke accounts have been coded for that entire time, with the same technology and interface used behind the scenes for us to create the GEIA and new accounts. The honest answer is that we've been too scared to release them upon the platform as there is so much scope for lenders to make mistakes, leaving us open to criticism and at best having a huge knock on effect in terms of support. With the next two accounts launching I'll probably remove the bespoke account "coming soon" banner. That doesn't mean it's dead, and it will quite possibly make a return starting with a small invite only release before gradually rolling it out, but that's not part of our short term plans. Not going to give any clues just yet as to what those new accounts are. There'll be plenty of marketing to accompany their release.

ah no automatic trading between different account holders to aid diversification at present, that explains all for me, look forward to this working in new program as i have 80% of my holding in 4 wind farms at present and it is making me a little worried. Also a thank you for the discussion around long term returns and the need for spreading risk on another thread, this made me take stock and start reducing my risk,as a real beginner in this investment thing a little warning of the economic cycle is most instructive,i am learning a lot forum this forum thank you all.

The other I'm guessing; house building/L2L
