'Lady-gardener?' Never heard it called that before. Must be silverback banter. p.s. We seem to have lost the thread. Actually I was thinking more along the lines of something to do with bushes and bananas Sorry, I don't get the connexion, Bracknellboy

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of something to do with bushes and bananas That's not so much lady-gardening as man-scaping. Anyway, back to the subject So the forum seems to be back up and allowing logins, but I tried to reply to a post, and got this when I hit "Reply to post" :- Is my web browser being dim, or is it the page is coded funny? Needless to say I don't want to save it, open it with anything. Whatever "it" is ...

After the FC forum was declared "up" again, I found that I could view it if not logged in, but as soon as I logged in, all I could get was a blank screen with a one-liner on it "Unable to render the screen" (or something like that - something to do with screen rendering)
Now, I can log in, but on the page that shows the one-line subject headers, I don't see the page numbers, so I only have the option to go to the subject itself - page 1. At the bottom, I see the links to pages 2, 3, etc, and when I hover the mouse over them, the cursor changes to a hand, but clicking does nothing at all.
I have written to Funding Circle about it, but is anybody else having the same problem? Is it just my impression, or is the generality of FC software on the decline? It seems less solid than when I joined the site three years ago.

Press the Back button on your browser. It worked for me.

Well two people have managed to post in the other place in the last hour or so, but I can't. It just asks me to download a file, which turns out to contain an unhelpful Javascript error message.
Pity they didn't test the upgrade before going live with it, they may have to back it out.
Sad part is, the forum used to be the one bit of the website that wasn't broken.

Yeah it's still very broken. I could post, but not edit my post, I can't load an avatar pic ( they lost the old one), I can't see the new posts ( there is one called testing, or test, if you can find it) and all in all it scores nil points.

Total incompetence - and I hope they read my opinion here. They don't like being criticised. They might as well take the "forum" off line permanently. It has served very limited useful purpose from the start. PS Look at that idiot with the banana at the top of the page! (Many Americans I know think he was an idiot long before he adopted the GrumpyDiet!)

I understood that he took up the GrumpyDiet to increasify his itellectitude - not up to Grumpy levels of course.
