Phone numbers should all be corrected overnight.

Gah. Minor stall. Phone numbers more than 50% complete. Remainder being done over the next 48 hours after I re-check the data (cleansing some '+', '00' etc etc out of the upload).

I think Ablrate said a few days ago that if the new site couldn't go live on Thursday it would be left until Monday because of the need to provide support to deal with the inevitable queries that arise. In the event it went live on 4pm Friday afternoon - I guess because by that time expectations were such that it was felt delaying until Monday would cause considerable frustration.
I think they are to be commended for providing a support service Friday evening and Saturday when they have other commitments (Andy's rowing races etc). None of the issues look particularly difficult to sort out and I'm looking forward to seeing some new loans in a few days.

All we need now is a good flow of attractive new loans and, crucially, ongoing monitoring to make sure the new SM really does become a liquid loan exchange as hoped. If that means tweaking things slightly (eg. min and max premium thresholds) then so be it.

Thankyou guys . I can assure you that we are beavering away hard and I think that to my mind there is one "system glitch" at the moment in the secondary market which I think that I can get to the root of tonight. If anyone does want to buy or sell loans at a price that is up there but they are struggling to execute then please let me know and assuming it is sensible I will deal directly with you to honour the trade. There is a problem where amending bids can't be done if you have insufficient funds to do the trade twice (I may have to solve this by removing the "Amend Bid" button so that you can only cancel and re-input as a worst case). Some phone numbers are incorrect and this is 47% resolved already and will be completed overnight/tomorrow. Most other things are display issues - some people's total interest is being displayed wrong in the Dashboard (I know how to address this), primary bids should be showing with secondary bids in the "Current Bids" (this inadvertently got unwound during a previous test phase), Financial Statements should be clearer (techies given to much freedom to define these), rounding error is leading people to think that they sometimes have up to 0.499999p more than they actually have and causing Withdrawal issues (I'll switch "round" to "round down"). Oh, and I re-assigned someone's gender as part of the manual data migration ( ). Irritatingly that is probably the hardest thing to solve. Most of the rest of the feedback is future development and hopefully we now have the building blocks in place to sort out reporting (tax, trade histories etc), auto-invest etc pretty pronto. (I may have missed a couple of things but I don't have my notes in front of me!)

On the 'Bank transfer' link, there is a sentence suggesting the use of Transferwise for payments from abroad, saying, 'please use this link', but there isn't a link there.

Has anyone else checked their gender, I suppose it just matters for tax reasons?

Well done Ablrate, generally a smooth and sophisticated interface.
Two small points which I noticed:
1. When creating a bid in the SM, I found that the bid details window (launched by 'create your own bids and offers' button) obscured the table of existing bids and offers. It's nice to be able to compare the competition as one decides on the rate, so I had to close, then reopen the window to check what was below. A floating pop-up window that could be dragged to one side would work better for me.
2. After making a deposit by card payment, I received two automated emails. 'Deposit made' and 'Thank you for your Ablrate deposit'. There may be a technical reason for having two, but it's lost on me. Also the one titled 'Deposit made' contains a typo: first line begins "hank you…"

1. we avoided pop-ups because too many people use pop-up blockers now. I'll see if we can position it better though. Good point. 2. Emails need cleaning up a little and its on the to-do list Thanks for the feedback.

Secondary market problem is identified. We are inadvertently re-checking accounts twice for the money when someone tries to hit a bid. Therefore if the buyer doesn't have cash to cover their whole bid again, it is returning an error to the seller. This should be straightforward to resolve tomorrow.
Great to see some tight prices on there already so thanks all for getting involved. There's no loss to you from listing parts for sale as you still earn interest when offering so we hope liquidity increases exponentially.

Not sure why two are going out, we will check that.... and I knows its me who made a mistake... I have a sticky 't' on my keyboard and apparently 'hank' does not appear on the spellcheck! hank you.. Herein my £0.0000001worth, On the financial statement there's a load of "instant return deposits" with no explanation as to which loan There seem to be several loans called atr42-500, can you start using a loan number or something to distinguish them please. There's the one on the main market 11% twiddling its fingers, and there are two in the SM nominally 10% (which I don't remember seeing on the old site, are they really previous loans?) It would be nice to have a lot more than 10 lines on the financial statement (or better please an excel export), and some of the lines are abbreviated to the point of myste...... (see image) Here in the financial statement it's impossibile to work out which atr 42-500 loan the transaction applies It's weird to call a bid placed a withdrawal. On the financial statement an SM sale doesnt list the principal and the accrued interest separately (in fact the accrued interest is only shown by implication) (as private emails) I created an SM offer bottling plant £99.99 Via the dashboard I tried to amend my SM offer, but I got told I was trying to sell more than I owned, so that's an error It's a bit round the houses, create an SM offer here, but amend or cancel it on a different page taking 4 clicks . The word cancel is being used both to delete an existing offer and to abandon an offer that I'm currently preparing. (I recommend the word Abandon which has superseded the unpleasant Abort) I created an SM offer (of £100 exactly ie par) - this didn't tell me anything about the accrued interest, effective apr etc on a confirmation screen - which it should. Far too many tabs opening and leaving me logged in Still having to re-enter my bank details for withdrawal, security hazard Attachments:

I'm sure this must have been mentioned but haven't ploughed thru all the posts.....
My dashboard doesn't show any active bids or funds currently lent when I have a bid/investment in the ATR 42 500 (still awaiting drawdown I think).
The only place I can locate my money is in my financial statement where it is tagged as a withdrawal.
This cannot be right; dashboard should show a full and accurate summary of my current position (not least my lump sum investments).
Thanks.
