One thing: Stop pandering to lenders. Let them make their own choices
There isn't any need to and I'm happy with the way things are. I pay no attention to estimates and my targets are all set - I accept I might miss out on some loans but I don't care, that's life. The only thing I might like is a tag for upcoming loans I haven't clicked yet but basically I'm a realist and my expectations are based on experience rather than the targets you claim.

Sorry, more than one, in no particular order... What many have already said about keeping to promised dates. Some sort of secondary market with the ability to set a premium/discount. When selling or buying loan units and there isn't sufficient demand, am I in a queue or is it randomly allocated? If its random, should it be a queue? If its a queue, can I see my position in the queue to get some idea how long I'm going to be waiting? I don't know how many people would be interested in it but some form of user forum on the site or for each loan, currently when issues arise with a loan and I want to know what others make of it I have to come to this site, and although I like this site a lot I can only imagine that a small percentage of AC users are actually here and there would be a better spread of input if there was some community built around AC itself. Voting on actions is done by email and this process feels a little ghetto, can voting happen on the site? Ability to order loans by when they were last updated and to see the last updated date on the main list, so that I don't have to go into each one hunting for what may (or may not!) have updated. Thank you for taking the time to engage with your users. When buying loan units the algorithm tries to give all lenders the same amount. If the total for sale divided by the number of buyers is less than £1 each (off the top of my head) then the sales are divided into £1 chunks and distributed at random amongst all buyers. Otherwise the system allocates equal shares to all lenders, with any excess where a lender is allocated more than they want to buy allocated back amongst the other lenders. I believe the general consensus is that this has been working very well. For sales there's a weighted random allocation based upon the amount being sold, to aid underwriters, but with a rotation whereby if there are 10 buyers then at least 10 sellers are allocated sales. Again this seems to be working fairly well but we are working on some tweaks.

Lack of mark up / mark down continues to hamper liquidity. Uncertainty in releasing your investment is a major factor in limiting investment for me. This should include non-performing loans, potentially through a separate screen.

I think what would massively benefit the site is some sort of auto invest account. I'm pretty sure smaller lenders don't want to read page after page of credit report to lend a small amount. They just want to be diversified. What Assetz needs is some sort of auto invest with diversification that takes the aggravation out of the whole thing - a bit like FC auto invest (only better). Whilst I agree, AC have tried an auto-invest account - it's called the GEIA.

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Introduce a single platform low cost p2p SIPP.
The currently available offering from SIPP club has very high annual charges. There is now a TC-only SIPP, why can't we have an Assetz Capital only SIPP ?

More, possibly smaller, loans. I'm into 66 of the 87 live loans, and waiting on 7 of the 14 upcoming loans. To manage risk, I keep individual loan amounts small, and avoid multiple loans to one borrower. If there were more loans, I would put more in.

There's neigh need for the first comment. Was it made on the hoof? Excessive whinnying and stampeding spoils the campsite, I hope that we are not saddled with it. Always one to stirrup peoples emotions

You are all highly trained professionals (I have it from the horse's mouth), so I don't intend to teach you how to suck eggs. Making money for us is what we want from you, and if you can't already see what we require from the piles of comment that are regularly dumped on this forum then you need putting out to pasture. So my request is different. I would have more confidence in the whole shebang if you, Andrew, were more consistent in your tone on the forum. What I mean is that you can come over as our best mate, as now, but then kick out when we use the whip (does the term minion still make you bridle, or was that an off day?) You are perfectly entitled to your opinions, and to feel protective towards your team when they are criticized, but I think it is a mistake to let your guard down and 'shoot from the hip' on those occasions. To be able to see yourself as your customers do is very valuable for any business and the question you posed on this thread is a good one. Every business drops the ball occasionally but customer goodwill can carry you forward regardless. So my 'one thing' is take a chill pill before replying on the forum.

Rereading my post, and judging by the lack of response so far, it occurs to that I may have come over a bit too strongly in my post. Please be assured andrewholgate that I mean well and hold you in high regard. I am a longtime supporter of AC and hope to own shares in your company in due course. yours, oldnick Bluntly-by-the-sea.
