Small loans nearly always fill at MBR, regardless of band. Let's wait until there's a few more decent-size ones about.
In the mean time, my heart won't bleed if Baz and friends get left holding a big pile of unsellable semi-toxic chod. I notice that the premium battle for 13910 has reached 1.7%, with nearly a quarter of the loan on the SM...

Yep, as happened with C-, the Furry Critters solution to the "grasping bid-bots" problem is to attempt to choke them with cream (with the occasional poison kipper thrown in), rather than trying to impose any sort of limits which b*z et al would presumably resist.

Parts on offer at just 1.9% premium at present. Now 1.0%. Having some fun manipulating the autobots. My bad.

I'm seeing 1.4% as the lowest now, with plenty still available, so maybe one of the big boys has re-bought them to reflip to keep the market up?

Uh-Oh. Weird behaviour of E-rated loan parts : Can anyone explain this :
I bought a few £20 parts of 13910 (E-Rated) which has now drawn down.
* If I look at the loan parts individually from "My Loan Parts", some have a date (for next repayment) against them, whereas some have no date.
and
* If I list them in SELL tab, initially before I add any premium, they all show a buyer rate of 18.2%. OK so far. But, some show a selling price of £20.00 whereas others show a selling price of £20.30 (while ALL STILL AT PAR)
It appears as if some have earned +1.5% interest already, whereas some have not.
Edit: It's the ones that show the selling price of £20.30 which correspond to no next payment date showing under "my loan parts".

That sound's like something to bring to FC's attention.

Yes, there's definitely an anomaly.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE PARTS OF 13910 to confirm whether this is a common problem?

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE PARTS OF 13910 to confirm whether this is a common problem? I've got some 13910, annoyingly non have any anomalous interest added. Hmm Don't be annoyed; I don't think I can benefit from this anomaly, in fact it looks rather like the duffs ones aren't scheduled to make any future payments ! I somehow managed to snaffle the very first few 13910 off the press, so maybe the server wasn't properly warmed up...
EDIT 03/07/15 : Problem seems to have spontaneously resolved overnight.

13944 £50k loan - surely this won't draw down? The same company had a previous loan for the same amount which was B rated and taken as a whole loan at 9.4% with £35,000 still outstanding. No late repayments that have been recorded. New loan being used in part to repay existing loan. Why on God's green earth would anyone replace £35k of debt at 9.4% with £35k of debt at 18.2%? If they need additional funds and FC is the only place that will give it to them surely they will cancel this loan and relist one for £15k and keep the old loan active? My rating: AVOID

This is in respect of my earlier comment about loan 13924 (I'm not very good with forums). I still think that there will be problems ahead, of the £44k or so at the min I'd say around £40k are flippers. The only thing that will drive it all the way down to 18.2 across the board are even more flippers and there could well be a supply outweighs demand come maturity. In addition flippers won't want to be sat with loads of Es for very long and the abandon ship siren might sound fairly quickly. I do a bit of flipping myself but wouldn't touch this with a proverbial barge pole but each to their own. 13924, the big E, now answering questions - and it seems a bit much for lenders to complain in the Q&A of lack of answers a few hours into a 7 day auction. The chap has a business to run and answers can only get him down to 18.2% from 20. Answers seem ok to me and it will probably not be taken today, so we will see if/when it hits MBR. Also if I were the borrower I would look to find a better deal asap - so not one to buy on the SM at 3%. But I think worthwhile to hold a few months and sell at par if I have to. This E band is not for those with a nervous disposition.

Some people always act like a right bunch of Charlies in the Q&A though.
This one is interesting: "My opinion is that the loan is expensive and we will take a view on it once the bidding has closed. It is a cheaper optic than refinancing our commercial mortgage which is at a competitive rate."
Expensive - but possibly better than the alternative?
To bid Or not to bid To bid Or not to bid

"... It is a cheaper optic than ..." Avoid the cheaper optic - a branded spirit is always superior.

He is paying a high price for a period of poor cash management. I am sure he has already taken a view on the loan - what difference between 18.2% and 19% other than optimisation? The business is better than the band imo and it is a matter of how long before this loan can be refinanced elsewhere. FC will be the winners, having their full fee up front. I'm in.
