As you all know, we are currently facing issues with our website. This is manifesting itself with errors on the savers' statements. We had expected to put two loans up this afternoon. However, we have had to delay this until these issues are corrected. As you probably know we are working on rewriting the entire investment process which is what is the root cause of the problem. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Looks like my Account Summary (and Available to Invest) figures are now correct. They have crept along gradually to that position over the course of the afternoon. So you can load up the loan offers any time you like now!  |

All three of yesterday's maturing loans are to be renewed, so there may be 3 loans needing small topups in the next week. They were only small loans to start with, so the restricted amount per lender required for any topup is likely to be very low. Over the last couple of hours all three of these from last Monday have been "paid back" into my account - interest plus capital, the latter I'm hoping is going to disappear out again as the loans are renewed tomorrow. And the loan which matured today is also to be renewed. An interesting pattern seems to be developing here. Two more are on the maturity horizon with 4 and 8 days to go.

We continue to experience issues with the performance of our website. As we have previously reported here, we are rewriting a significant part of the code. This has not yet been completed although we hope to start testing soon. In the meantime the current loans that are on the website are operating using the old code. We will, as always, ensure all requested investments are correctly reflected before the loans are activated. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience

I'll start thinking something's wrong when that doesn't appear any more

Fair enough but putting up 4 loans at the same time may not have helped performance!!! Yes, I agree with that - perhaps the thinking was that people would be accessing different loans and thus spreading the load a bit, but the site itself seems to have buckled instead this time.

But they may have opened each loan up in a different tab and put 4 times the load on the system!! I did try to open up another tab at one stage because I wanted to see my account page to see how much I had in the kitty!!

The current system doesn't seem to be updating that sort of information in real time. In fact, at the moment, it doesn't seem to be updating ANYTHING, period. Very frustrating. After spending an hour just trying to lend out £500, I think I'll wait until there is competent code running before re-visiting.

Site under maintenance
All our loans for today have been fulfilled. The site is now under maintenance mode whilst we finalise the investments.
