SB's were granted the same 30 day bonus. So a thumbs up to FS in my book. Wow! That was very generous. Full marks for FS's customer service. Now all we have to worry about is whether the situation is sustainable.

The email I received from FS says different (copy below). No 30 days intrerest for shadow bids but a modest 0.25% int. This loan attracted about £300k in sb and it would cost £3.25k to grant 30 days int.
Please, can others confirm if they received same email below?
"We regret to advise you that the borrower has decided to pull out of obtaining a loan on the below property. This is due to a sudden change in personal circumstances.
For those who have placed shadow bids, to compensate for any inconvenience, and as a gesture of goodwill, we will pay £25 for every £10,000 bid. This will be credited directly to your FundingSecure account.

We've had notification that the 1966 soft-top Jaguar E-Type that was security for a loan made back in Oct.'13 is returning for another loan. <snip> My guess would be that this loan might be one of those very rare ones that actually stays live long enough for the bidding limit to be lifted. The loan is 80% funded as I write this at 2030. It's done very well at offering an investment opportunity for a lot of lenders (about 110, I think). Whether there still will be some funding required at 1300 tomorrow when the maximum investment restriction is lifted is uncertain, but it's unlikely to need much by that time. Well, there was about £2,500 left to fund of this loan when the restrictions were lifted about ten minutes ago. All but £75 of that was taken up in about a minute. The last £75 is still available as I write this. PS. The last £75 disappeared a couple of minutes later.
