Has anyone tried investUP www.investup.co ? If I understand correctly they offer a multi-platform dashboard so that you can deposit your money with them, and then invest it in loans from different platforms such as ThinCats, Assetz Capital, rebuildingSociety etc. This would certainly help having a common interface. Also I find that I have small balances left over on each of the sites I'm on, so it might be any easy way to combine these to invest them. If they offer an P2P ISA when they are allowed, this might be a way to have one big P2P ISA but split the lending across multiple P2P lending platforms. I know it's new but has anyone tried it? I'm registered and plan to give it a go in due course.

Their rep on the forums (dominvestup) offered to fasttrack forumites but nothing has happened yet

Got my invite today after emailing them a week ago. I registered so long ago I can't remember when!
Like others, I plan to put a small amount in and will use it when the ISA becomes available.

Simple minded OAP (see - an acronym!) here: is this not adding another level of platform risk to the platform risk we already enjoy?

Simple minded OAP (see - an acronym!) here: is this not adding another level of platform risk to the platform risk we already enjoy? Hi Uncletone, Good point. You’ll still have your client account with the underlying sites so if investUP were to go belly-UP - god forbid - you’d still be able to access your investments directly with the underlying platforms. All your funds on UP are held in a segregated client money with Barclays which is protected by the FSCS. Once you transfer funds from your central balance on UP to a crowdfunding site the risk lies with the underlying sites. But then again you would face this issue if you held an account with the underlying site anyway. Cheers, Dom

Simple minded OAP (see - an acronym!) here: is this not adding another level of platform risk to the platform risk we already enjoy? I stopped just short of completing the registration for that very reason. I'll let others take the lead here and see how it gets reported, but I hope it has legs as the multi platform IFISA could be their raison d'etre, or as the French would say, reason for being. Edit; The other raison I can see is giving the smaller investor access to the likes of Platform Black, breaking down a larger investment into smaller chunks. Could even be done for TC etc. (sorry, et cetera) Disappointingly, from first look, that doesnt seem to be the case. TC loans have a min bid of 1k showing, Archover the same.

Ablrate Abundance (FCA pending) Archover Assetz Capital Invest&Fund Money&Co Rebuilding Society Relendex Saving Stream ThinCats
We will be launching equity soon (FCA permitting) with the following sites:

We are also working on bringing many more crowdfunding sites to UP. Watch this space as they say.

Hi all, I thought I would quickly update you all on UP and our plans for the next few months. If you sign UP to our site at the moment you will be using Version 1 of the platform. As with many V1's it is not perfect. A few issues which you should be aware of: - Transferring money from UP to the underlying sites takes time as each site has different methods for reconciling funds. We are working on ways to speed this up with our crowdfunding partners.
- Depositing to UP can only be done with Bank transfer. This is a short term issue and in a few months pretty much instant deposits will be possible. Apologies in advance if you experience delays with the current version.
- There is a waiting list - this is being removed next week, so open doors for everyone.
We have plans to launch an ISA under the IF ISA wrapper. We will be calling this the far more colloquial crowdISA. Whilst this will cover loans and shares on the crowdfunding sites we work with, we are also exploring ways for some of the smaller sites to offer the crowdISA direct to their existing clients, with UP's support. I'll keep you posted on the details as we get them, but these are really all dependent on the government giving us more colour around the mechanics. The next version of the site - Version 2 - is being built as we type. A lot of the issues you may experience are being knocked on the head with Version 2 - very exciting. We hope to have this version with you by Q4 of this year. I would be grateful for ALL your feedback as this will feed directly into what we are constructing at the moment. The team and I have read many of your comments, and there are some excellent ideas there. If you think this could be useful for you, then fire us your comments and feedback so we can get V2 as close to what you need as possible. Feel free to email me with your thoughts at dom@investup.co I cannot thank you enough for all your interest in our humble start-UP!! Dom

I'm getting the distinct feeling I've been leap-frogged. I joined the exclusive waiting list for the world's only crowdfunding supermarket on the 30th May, and still haven't been accepted.....sound of disgruntled muttering.....

PM dominvestup your email address and he might be able to bump it. Something does seem to have got stuck as my invite only came through yesterday (with a push) whereas a family member got there's about an hour after registering, at least 500 places after me. Not much on the site anyway, couple of REBS loans, a TC & Archover, no sign of anything from FC, SS or AC all of which are listed as available platforms, 2 of which definately have available loans. Havent taken a full look but not seen anything that prompts me to invest here rather than on seperate platforms as yet. Early days though. Edit: Ooops, FC aernt affliated yet, seem to have imagined seeing them on the list.
