Should investUP have their own board here?
And why is the domain name investup.co (Columbia) rather than investup.co.uk (UK company)?

I'm getting the distinct feeling I've been leap-frogged. I joined the exclusive waiting list for the world's only crowdfunding supermarket on the 30th May, and still haven't been accepted.....sound of disgruntled muttering..... PM dominvestup your email address and he might be able to bump it. Something does seem to have got stuck as my invite only came through yesterday (with a push) whereas a family member got there's about an hour after registering, at least 500 places after me. Not much on the site anyway, couple of REBS loans, a TC & Archover, no sign of anything from FC, SS or AC all of which are listed as available platforms, 2 of which definately have available loans. Havent taken a full look but not seen anything that prompts me to invest here rather than on seperate platforms as yet. Early days though. Sure - anyone who wants access and has signed UP please PM me your email address. Sorry for the waiting list (being removed next week I promise). Il Moro - good insight there. There is a tab under search (New - Resale) which lists all the 'resale' deals from Assetz Capital and SS. If you do not select resale only 'new' pitches are listed and these are fewer in number. We will make this tab more prominent and easier to find. Best as always, Dom

A (British) friend had a .co website a couple of years ago, at the time I figured it was basically .com for hipsters Having said that, wikipedia syas it's colombia, so go figure.

Yes, me too, I signed up so long ago I had forgotten until my recent application was rejected because I was already on the list, however, based on recent comments here there seems no reason to hurry anyway.

Ive been on the site several times completely oblivious to these 'secondary loans' Read a post on other board of its existence & still failed to find it.

I can understand why those were semi-formally repurposed (there's an obvious market, and it's a nice little earner for the country), but Colombia is a country with a bigger economy and national internet presence, and the advantage of .co over .com, or the various national equivalents is unclear - as you say it's effectively .com for hipsters. Other hijackings of country domains include the redirect services bit.ly (Libya) and youtu.be (Belgium).

domUP How does the resale list work? There are at least 2 AC loans showing avaliability which have no avaliability though the AC platform itself and more bizarrely another 2 that are available that have been repaid last week! How is the list kept up to date?

How is the list kept up to date? Over on the AC board Chris has said that no API has so far (target Q4 2015) been provided to aggregators yet, and linkage is done manually or by screen scraping. That might explain the lag.

I see I had forgotten .to (Tonga, marketed as "to"), and that there are others (.me, .am, .fm, .dj, .cd) that I wasn't properly aware of. See the WikiPedia article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_hack for more information on TLD tricks.

How is the list kept up to date? Hi Il Moro, I’m checking this out right now. The deals are currently updated by hand. APIs are being built currently being built which will help this - there are three coming online over the next few weeks. It's brand new, raw and will only get better I promise! Best, Dom

Reminds me of hipster-baiting comedy Nathan Barley; in which the protagonist has his website registered in the cook islands so it says .co.ck www.trashbat.co.ck if I remember rightly!

Can I ask domUP which p2p sites have given their express permission for you to sell their loans?

Of course you may Ton. We only show deals with sites which have given us expressed permission to work with them. For an example of some of the sites we work with i've linked in one of our press releases: www.investup.co/news/UP-adds-5-new-sites/We are hoping to add to the collection over the next few months. Hope this helps. Dom

As long as the loan updating is manual the problem I see is that loans that sell out very quickly, eg SS and MT, may be gone before they even appear on this site. Unless of course the other platform releases them to investUp early.
