Is there something up with the accrued interest on this loan?
I just logged out and in again and my accrued interest dropped by over £1,900. Accrued interest on all my loans is now £0.00!!!!!

The gist of an email this evening:- Delay down to Diwali! More funds needed and coming from family so all should be sorted by early next week, next update Tuesday at the latest.

What is Diwali? A bank holiday in the sub-continent? I cannot see the significance for UK loans. But as an excuse it is quite original, as excuses have to be at this stage in the game.

It probably is a bank holiday in India but closer to home it is a huge deal in Leicester quite a happy time is had by all. Hopefully that happy time will extend to all lenders next week and the accrued interest will pay out together with the capital. While the new shiny accumulated totals look nice I would quite like some transferring to my cash account, I've got stuff to pay for!

Another update deadline missed ( i assume Tuesday latest meant yesterday at latest). Perhaps you've made a poor assumption. After all, they didn't actually specify which Tuesday!

Actually OG, the update was in an email last Friday - I think it just got uploaded to the AC site on Monday. So should have been yesterday and early this week as ilmoro said.............

Oh...OK Rosie....Wish they would date their info more consistently I suspect that sensibly the date and time of update is now added automatically to get around the issue which we rightly complained about not providing a date. The problem with this one and Anglesey was that the emails were issued on Friday but AC didn't add the update to the system and had to be reminded via Q&A. Hopefully a one off.
