Why does this happen, I can never understand it? People snap it up to pick up the one day's interest in case it repays tomorrow (if it repays today they get zero). If it doesn't repay by tomorrow we are back in the same old situation (if not worse) where you run the risk of loss of income and capital. All the risk for next to no rewards - baffling. When units a removed from the aftermarket, there's no way to know if they where sold or just removed by the seller. I had £1500 up for sale which sold in one go. I'd guess someone with deep pockets wanted to park £50K for a week or two, and is confident the loan will repay shortly.

"On this basis we are happy to allow refinance to continue and will update lenders further when we have clarity around whether repayment will be today or tomorrow." Unfortunately... it doesn't look like it's going to be today!

Unfortunately... it doesn't look like it's going to be today! I know things sometimes happen even late in the evening, but starting to look like we aren't going to be getting it on yesterday's 'tomorrow' either. I know there's been stuff going on at AC today, but they knew about that yesterday when they told us we'd have further clarity on this yesterday or today. (I assume somebody told the 'getting on with day to day business' team there'd be 'stuff' going on today, didn't they? ) Wonder when......................?

Well, at least I'll be getting my 0.838356p on the £17 the new MI system bought me today Edit: It's a shame to have to get critical after all today's excitement, but I still do think we should have had some sort of update on this today considering the only two options for payment on the horizon were yesterday or today, and neither of them have happened.

Yes tomorrow never comes!!!!
I'm sure (well maybe sure), once some of these funds are repaid they may pick up some of the 'slack' in the AM even though the rates on offer may not be particularly encouraging.

Some rug pulling from under. The new lender has waited until the last minute and now that they have the borrower over a barrel they want to renegotiate the terms of their offer. Aside from the impact this is having on us, this strikes me as a rather unsavoury practice. Do we know who the new lender is? I certainly would want to avoid them!

Well at least Friday's not tomorrow Am I right in thinking you just 'bought' £17 of Hackney, what is it about AC and the number 17? It seems to keep coming up. It feels like Sesame Street here sometimes. Is it that something to do with £100 being divided amongst 6000 lenders?

Somehow or other I ended up with a holding that was short of my target by that amount, which of course never got filled until the new site came on-line and a loan part was split the instant I moved my money across to MIA. It's what I said I wanted, so not unhappy - was just a bit of a surprise at the time.

Is there something up with the accrued interest on this loan?
I just logged out and in again and my accrued interest dropped by over £1,900.
