Derby is a spin-off from the recently defunctified cemetery loan. The separate companies borrowing for Derby and the Sidmouth loan have common directors.

Thanks - Interesting to know as I had been looking at the Derby loan in isolation and had not connected it with the cemetery loan at all! Defunctified.... I think you may have just invented a new word

Sorry to drag this back to the fore, having a little to invest now, this to me looks quite attractive with regards to recent updates and its sat on the SM with 38k available, Someone please tell me if i am missing something. edit. i have read thro some of the comments above but not sure where this lies. Question... is it worth a punt after now looking like a 12 month loan. Its all gone within one day.

Time remaining has been updated from a negative value to 3 days left. PBL55 has also changed. Is that the extent of the rumoured extension...??

Funny month, remaining time has been increased by about 18 days, or a few days if drawdown date is used. No obvious logic that I can see.

The update for this and PBL055 say both loans have been extended for 12 months is this a formal extension where interest has been paid upfront only they still show as negative days or informal where interest is paid monthly only the update says 'servicing interest' which suggests interest not paid up front but being paid monthly as falls due ?

There's a prior update on each loan that explains it: "Borrower has agreed a sale for £6,000,000. On an option agreement for 12 months. The buyer will pay Saving Stream interest quarterly in advance for up to 12 months."

I wonder if that means they will update the days available ?

The buyer will pay Saving Stream interest quarterly in advance for up to 12 months." I wonder if that means they will update the days available ? The fact that the remaining term is now negative suggests to me that either the buyer hasn't made the agreed quarterly payment or SS haven't updated the term to reflect the interest received. Perhaps savingstream would be so kind as to tell us which of those two possibilities is the correct one. Or supply an alternative explanation if neither of my suggestions is correct.

Only £100 sold in the last 24 hours...my loan part stuck there part sold so I am pretty sure. Has the lack of clarification requested caused the market for this to freeze? Even much poorer loans are selling. I'm surprised just how much of this is available - just had a 12mo extension (allegedly)? I bet it won't linger with the 128 cash looking for a home... <edit: I wasn't wrong! £31k to £12k in five minutes...>

Update 5 days ago on this (and PBL055) state "Loan extended for 12 months" yet both still show negative time remaining. Why would that be? Hasn't prevented both being fully funded on the SM though.

It did however prevent (or at least deter) me from being one of those to fund it though. This is a pretty clear example of an update not providing enough information, further confused by the end date remaining negative.

I have asked the question.....was assured the days remaining would be updated in due course, but 100% certain that the loan was extended for a year.
