Yes, please tell us. The Q&A appear, currently, to be a 'write only memory' (or maybe the questioner can actually see?) I can't see my question. I did get an automated email response though saying that they have received my request.

The latest update on DFL001 says "Very close to completion, all warranties in place and contracts signed. Original investors will be rolled into this new loan."
So I think that might answer the question?

It answers a question about DFL001 but it doesn't tell us anything about PBL58...

It answers a question about DFL001 but it doesn't tell us anything about PBL58... Reading in between the lines, it looks like SS are looking to have the original loan repaid, before offering the lender a new DFL Loan. As such, I would expect the original investments to be returned to investors first and a new DFL loan to be launched separately. The other DFLs borrowers never repaid their original PBLs, so there was no money to return to investors in the first place. Could be totally wrong, though.... only SS have the answer

It did sort of sound that way to me too which is why I was keen to get a reply from savingstream

Today I got a reply from savingstream to my question: "Will current PBL rollover into the new DFL as was the case with the previous 2 DFLs?" Tim said: "No I think we will repay the existing PBL in full and release a new DFL in the pre-funding pipeline in this case." Thanks for the response, Tim.

That's good to know SS get some stick for comms, but to e-mail you on a Bank Holiday Monday is good to see.

Not quite sure why this is different to the others ones The other DFLs borrowers didn't pay the original loan back, hence why investors were rolled into the new loan. The borrower of PBL58 is going to pay the loan off before the new DFL is launched, so the investors of PBL58 will have their money returned.

There was no indication of the reason - what I posted was the complete response. I guess it's just timing. If they have the cash to repay the original loan then no point continuing to pay interest if the DFL isn't ready to launch yet. I have to admit, I was hoping for a rollover. Without it I'm going to end up with a fair chunk of cash returned which I'll have to try and relend somewhere sensible in the meantime and then sell out again when the DFL goes live.

There is a single Q&A on DFL1 It's the only one I can see on the entire SS site... There's exactly one Q on the whole website that SS decided was important enough to make visible -- presumably because they felt it would be of general interest -- and the answer given is something they've often promised to do but seem to have given up on lately...

Just updated today on SS PBL58 page:
"Expected repayment of the mansion house today - We have been advised by the borrower. In legals, our lawyers are talking to each other. "

I'm assuming that the Mansion House is just a percentage of the overall loan and we will get a partial repayment of 58?
Then, will the remainder roll forward into the DFL?
Has anyone got a response out of SS?

Has anyone got a response out of SS? In this thread (Ive quoted your post here so we dont end up with multiple threads] SS have provided an email response to SamIAM above that they will not roll over existing funds into the DFL but the situation may have changed. The fact that the DFL will be secured against only part of the original loan security makes this a logical move compared to previous PBL/DFL conversions
