The recent dearth of E loans (down from 4-6 per week to 2-4 per week since 20 March) might be explained by the news that pre-acceptance is on the way (see p2pindependentforum.com/thread/5146/dead-cash-days-end-sight ) Potential borrowers who are using Fairly Costly only as a plan B may be deterred by the threat of pre-acceptance.

Pre-acceptance would be great, but haven't our Friendly Chums been promising that for rather a long time already? I'm sick of having so much cash tied up in E loans that never accept, so it would be better to have fewer who actually accept.

I had a poke at the convenience store in Peckham. The proprietor assured me his name was neither Derek nor Rodney, and had never heard of anyone called Boyce.

Four Cheers! All 14 Es that I know of in April have now drawn down - no rejects Perhaps pre-acceptance, promised by the end of June, is actually being trialled. ps Any body seen this in the other RBs?

It's the same small pot going round and round - all sold before first repayment. Without me asking, but after I repeatedly whinged about excessive dead cash days, they paid me 'compensation' for the days over 14. 21542 had been rejected 18 days after launch. They used my Annualised Return to calculate it. Any one else had such compensation? Of course, I immediately asked for the same for many other lengthy rejects but Fist Clamped would not do it because the payment, they said, had been a goodwill gesture (logic?). But at least they seem to be responding to pressure at last by introducing pre-acceptance.
